So glad the 800MT has been a reliable companion during your recovery. The 450MT has been selling like hot cakes. I think it will be a big turning point for CFMOTO's acceptance. The Tyers to Rawson Rd is one of my favorites, probably ride it once a fortnight. Just a little tricky in winter when the sun filters through the trees and you get that strobe effect making it a little hard to see the road surface at times, just like many forest roads. Congratulation on 50 subs Ben.
Thanks so much for the comment and +1 for the strobing effect of the winter sun bursting through the trees. Definitely makes things difficult! The 450MT looks like a great bike - I’d love to try one. Hope to see you at Rawson one day ;)
Cheers from balmy Arizona. This is the first time Ive seen these color scheme on an 800MT, even if it’s a wrap job. It looks amazing mate!! Safe travels 🫡🇺🇸🌵
Thanks mate! It’s a factory colour believe it or not - I reckon it looks like something that Master Chief from Halo might find himself riding. Appreciate the comment all the way from the US 😃
@@benplaysbass2491 no way wow!! I guess we get the short end of the stick here 🤣🤣🤣 Im very interested in the 450 MT myself so much that it may replace my 23 GSA Trophy…! Take care
Like most I am skeptical of a Chinese made bike with a KTM engine. To the point that I could put myself through the anxiety of getting one. But I really enjoy listening and watching these reviews to hear how actual owners feel. I happy it’s all worked out.
I’m definitely happy to be the “canary down the mine” with this one! I’ll keep the commentary coming - good or bad - to keep you informed. Thanks for watching.
I’m seeing more and more examples of this. Could it be that we are finally seeing something in the motorcycling world that represents value for money???
@Ben Plays Bass, just wondering if you would consider an electric powered bikes for ADV riding, as opposed to petrol fuelled bikes? Me, i’m a fan of petrol bikes.
Great question and a contentious issue! We own a Tesla and as long as your expectations are inline with what its capabilities are, you can’t fault it. Electric bikes have years of development to go, so I think we’ll have to manage our expectations of the ones that we’re seeing currently. They’ll get there eventually! I’d love to try one though. But you’re right, there is absolutely nothing like an internal combustion engine! Keep an eye out for Savic Motorcycles from Australia. They’re doing some incredible innovation with electric bikes 😉
We’ll have to agree to disagree on this one. If this was a car, sure, but this is an 800cc parallel twin motorcycle engine. 4.5k rpm is a sweet spot for this bike and its power and fuel economy have both been great. 😊
Apparently as of 2018, 17 countries in the world use mph whereas the remaining 196 countries use kmh. I just can't believe that there are 16 countries out there with the audacity to use mph when they haven't even landed so much as a dog on the moon.

Very well done! Contemplating buying the Ibex 800 (here in the USA), very helpful review and nice ride. Thank you!
Thanks for the comment! Stay in touch and let us know if you get one!
Very good video, I agree with you 100% ,. I'm loving my 800mt, granted iv only got 1000kms up so far but iv put that up in little over a week.
Thanks for the comment/feedback! Definitely a bike worthy of putting 1000kms per week on! Keep me updated

the scenery of these places you're riding is beautiful, if you don't mind, what country is this sir?
I'm in the southern part of Australia
I’ve done almost 20,000 kms on mine so far and can’t fault it. It’s essentially my daily ride unless it’s raining when I leave for work.

kilometers, that's what countries that haven't landed men on the moon use
