Yes, Minnie indeed recorded the whistling for Hann. "I Burn" its imo their most artistic album so far, i love all of their albums, but, yes, Burn its their most aestethic for me. They managed to express the overall aestethic concept really really well on every single track there. Also is their last album with Soojin what makes it even more special. Whenever Soyeon creates the guide for recording a new song, she imitates the members vocal tones throughout so she can give them a good idea what she's looking for in the booth. It's not a full-on impression, but she can get pretty close to how they sing. Of course Minnie and Miyeon will have more power then her, and Yuqi can go far lower than she can, but she's good enough that she's almost there.

They are little older group (9yrs old group and still active) so they have a more mature feel and vocals and in my opinion (and many) they are the best vocalist in kpop period, they're actually dubbed 'Queens of Vocals' in Korea. Their Killing Voice is perfect to check out this and to give you a taste of their huge discography.. which again (like Idle) is one of the most diverse in kpop... they've experimented with jazz/rnb/funky/rock/latin music/hip hop etc etc. Also their rapper (has one of the deepest voices in female kpop) is the most credited female idol songwriter in the history of kpop. They're 4 and all of them have huge solo careers as well as the group. You won't regret checking them out.

They debuted with "Happy Death Day" and recently came out with another album with the title track "Freakin' Bad" Another group I think you'd like is xikers, they are under the same company as ateez and have a similar overall vibe, I'd recommend their debut title track "Tricky House"

Every other group mostly have common sounding voices but when it comes to idle i love how soyeon let's them sing in their original voices and tones while still experimenting with vocal techniques. this is why i love bts as well (my ults) coz they have such unique voices mean while every other boy group has that common kpop boy group sounding voice. actually bts and idle have a lot of similarities in my opinion. they have a nice lower register (yuqi in idle, taehyung in bts), fire rappers (soyeon, rm, jhope, suga) and singers that could hit exceptionally high notes (minnie, miyeon, jimin, jin and allrounder jungkook) also both groups write and produce their own songs, come from a not so huge label and worked their way to the top this is why bts and idle are my top boy group and girl group fav! (sorry i went off tangent on an idle reaction video but wanted to know if any armyland [term for army + neverland which is the mix of both group's fandom name] sees this too)

I think Shuhua is pronounced Shu Hwa, not Shu-wa. The 'Hua' bit means flower (in both Chinese and Korean - Shuhua is from Taiwan), but I don't know what the shu means! I'm loving your channel, because I'm an old fart who liked rock/blues from way back, and I only gradually got into Kpop because I used to spend a lot of time in the Far East, and my niece used to ask me to get merch from Tokyo's Koreatown for her. I've seen them in Taipei, and I have visited some of the places they used to live - is there some old remains in Toroko? I have souvenirs from there. It is strange, but J-pop was very popular when I was there, about 10 years ago, but I'm sure K-pop is more popular nowadays! And K-pop has become super-popular in China in the last 10 years. I think Shuhua is pronounced Shu Hwa, not Shu-wa. The 'Hua' bit means flower (in both Chinese and Korean - Shuhua is from Taiwan), but I don't know what the shu means!
I'm loving your channel, because I'm an old fart who liked rock/blues from way back, and I only gradually got into Kpop because I used to spend a lot of time in the Far East, and my niece used to ask me to get merch from Tokyo's Koreatown for her. (I tried buying it in Seoul, but it was much more expensive!) I did it for years without having any interest, but I eventually gave it a listen, and found some catchy tunes. Used to play it in the background at work. And then I heard Tomboy, and it blew my mind! Soyeon is amazing.
Itzy are good too, but they don't do their own stuff like G-Idle does. I'm going to start listening to Dreamcatcher, based on your reviews, but I still haven't got really into them.

I know in central Taipei there is a park with a big monument to Chiang Kai-shek. He was the leader of the Kuomintang, wasn't he?
But I think the original inhabitants - the Formosans - were more related to Pacific Islanders, with long, thick dark hair. I've seen them in Taipei, and I have visited some of the places they used to live - is there some old remains in Toroko? I have souvenirs from there.
It is strange, but J-pop was very popular when I was there, about 10 years ago, but I'm sure K-pop is more popular nowadays! And K-pop has become super-popular in China in the last 10 years. It is unstoppable!

Yuqi... yeah, don't worry to say that you fell in love with her hahaha I understand you, these girls are amazing, they're so funny too and especially (G)-IDLE are so good thanks to their variety of voices, unique tones. Everyone has her unique sound that makes IDLE so special. Yuqi is my bias but as you said before, everyone is wrecking our hearts with their own personalities and talents, the most important thing about them is they're unique. I recommend you to watch a bit of their shows, appearances on TV shows too, Yuqi is especially funny on variety shows, but also look at "Bonnie and Clyde" Yuqi's solo song, she gonna melt your ears ;)
