I myself into pharma business from past 8 years..he is right that 80% margin is there in medicine...to sell a medicine nearby 50% goes to prescriber(doctor) and upto 20-30% to retailer and 10% to distributor and remaining to the workers....you end up with nothing because there is very high competition in pharma field and there are expiry return also...
It means the local doctor is the biggest dalal of pharma industry. A doctor gets dalali from medical stores, labs, hospitals etc. Patients are just money minting machines for doctors. That's why those who are aware of this dirty business hate doctors and have no respect for them.
