One of my favorite Zeppelin tunes. Physical Graffiti is an epic album filled with brilliant music. In The Light is my favorite Zep song. You ought to react to that gorgeous song. Keep up the great work!
This one is at the top of the Led Zeppelin hierarchy. It is beautifully written, played, and produced. Perfectly ethereal and one that makes you reminisce and think of lost moments...
Hands down a 10/10. One of the greatest Zeppelin songs ever created. This is the only song that I have watched you rate that I do not agree with, but we all have different styles of music that we like. I would listen to the song again and then see what you think about it. :)
As the years pass and you more fully absorb Zeppelin’s catalog this song will rise on your favorites list. 30 years ago it wasn’t in my top 20, now it’s in my top 3.
I've been listening to Zeppelin for over 30 years and this is my favorite; it still give me chills most of the times I hear it. I enjoy your videos thoroughly, though. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Polo. Happy holidays!
This song appeals directly to the heart & is an arrow to the heart, recalling those poignant moments we've all had when looking back on our first love. That's what Robert was writing about & doing so beautifully. Definitely one of my favorites. Always makes me misty. Thanks, Polo.🩵✨️🩵
Polo, I absolutely ❤ your comment on them being "the ultimate creatives" and that is so spot on! We never knew what the next track would song like, we just knew that in all likelihood we would ❤ it! Thanks
Ten Years Gone is my number 1 from Led Zeppelin. As soon as a heard the opening of the song I fell in love with the sound. I've been a huge Led Zep fan before I even heard this track, and it easily took first place for me. Then No Quarter, The Rain Song, Bron Yr Aur 😁
This song in my opinion showcases the mastery of Jimmy Page in the studio more than any other song. The layering of the guitars and counter rhythms he comes up with is absolutely brilliant. The guitar solo in my opinion are top 5 favorite guitar solos ever. It’s not too flashy but the intensity and emotion are so moving that it grips me every time I listen to it.
This song is one of the most epic and prolific ballads of the 1970s. They played this on their epic 1977 US tour and John Paul Jones played his triple necked acoustic instrument and bass pedals simultaneously on this tour. Jimmy Page played his 1953 Fender Telecaster equipped with a b-bender on it. There are epic live performances of this song from that 1977 US tour. They last played the song on Aug 4th, 1979 at the Knebworth Festival. The song is a 10 out of 10 - no matter what it is compared to. ❤ Great reaction Polo !
Definitely, in my top 5 favorite songs of all time, by any artist. This song grows on you, as you listen to a more often. And then you realize it is an absolute gem.
Love everything they do! Whatever mood I’m in they have a song for each feeling/ mood!! They all have such great things they bring to the music! Genius!RIP John Bonham! ❤❤❤❤
Like others have said, this songs grows on you. It’s a creeper, it may not be one of the flashiest songs, but it’s so damn good. After so many years of listening to them, I think this song is up there towards the top of my list. I remember the first time hearing Physical Graffiti and Kashmir blew me away and I remember liking this song, but now I think this is the best of that album.
No One sounds like Led Zeppelin? It is just Brilliance!!! Tell me you couldn't just sit down on your couch and with a good stereo, and just let them take you on a musical journey! I love it!!!!
You hit the nail on the head. The preference of a song can greatly depend on your mood. This song is great when you reminisce! The bottom line is LZ knows how to hit every emotional state via their entire catalog! Because they are that talented. I love this song!
OMG are you kidding me Polo????? This is a love song talking about remembering what love was after time past. Everything they do is so different from the previous tunes. Who out there could match the diversity within their songs. Love this song. One of my favorites.
You absolutely got them!!!! What you said on this video is EXACTLY what makes them still so popular to this day!! Creativity is exactly what they are! Whoops I texted too soon? Lol! I like what you said at the beginning only? Lol!
This one is in my top 15 or so for Zeppelin songs. I also happen to see them do this album live as we were the first stop on the tour for this album in the Twin Cities. Amazing concert.
This song has grown on me my whole life. Meaning, since they first put it out here! Anytime I hear it? I like it better than the last time I heard it. It’s music to my ears. 😁💕
One of my top 5. It has been one of those tunes that always puts me in a laid-back mood and takes me back to a specific time and place. It grows on you.
Physical Graffiti is my favorite Zeppelin album. I am 61 years old and my first concert, at age 14 was Zep. In the last decade I would say that this and the Rain Song have come to the top of my favorites list..
My friend, Polo, Led Zeppelin is not to be consumed one song at a time, although there’s nothing wrong with that. Just like Pink Floyd, and other bands in that era, it is meant to be listened to as an album. The energy flow that goes through the songs as you see the band progress from record record is astounding as you have already discovered. If you listen to the albums in their entirely, and in order, you will be blown away. Same with Pink Floyd. Thanks to you, I’ve just done that recently and listen to their entire catalog in order. It took some time, but wow. Things I’ve never heard and didn’t remember. I hope you listen to Led Zeppelin one from beginning to end. Just great songs, what a continuously wonderful piece of work. I beg of you to listen to Pink Floyd the wall in order. It is a story that you must take in carefully. The songs are intricate and heartbreaking. I look forward to seeing that you’ve done that at some point. I love your show. You do such a great job. I’ve never watched reaction videos before now, but somehow you caught me with Pink Floyd and pulled me in with Led Zeppelin, and now I have seen much of your catalog. Physical Graffiti is a double album. Each song has its place. Listen to all of it, or as we old people say, listen t the album. Good luck, my friend. I wish you well and a merry Christmas, Happy holidays.
Pink Floyd also often consumed in dark smoky dorm rooms …..with certain substances. Zep also, but to a lesser extent. I usually got up and danced to Zep
I love this song, been listening to it regularly since 1969 and almost all Zeppelin songs do that for my very soul…glad you are listening to every aspect…I was blessed to grow up in the 1950’s when R&B was popping, & each genre blend to create another, a little jazz, blues, Elvis, music exploded thru the ‘60s, brought us Rock with the ‘British Invasion’ - incredible, mind-blowing/expanding creativity, there was lots of room for every form, they taught each other, bringing about something we have not seen since…I appreciate these generations listening listening for the first time & seeing there faces as they are experiencing NOW, how we did THEN…Much Gratitude🪶🎶
I remember when this album came out. I bought it on 8-Track tape and literally wore that tape out This is one of my absolutely favs on the album. I'm 70 yrs. old now but it never gets old. Thanks Polo.
1st time I ever spoke to my wife, it was a phone call, this was playing in her background. We're still together, 33 yrs married, and it's still like brand new. ❤
Your comment about Zep coming up with new sounds is spot on! The Beatles were the same way, almost every song sounded different, yet you knew who the band is.
Definately in my Top 5 Along with Kashmir, When the Levee Breaks, Gallows Pole and Black Dog. But as you say its a Different scale. Great Reaction by the way!🙂
This is one of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs. It is laid back, which matches the lyrics, as it is about reminiscing about the past and a longing for what is gone and can no longer be captured again. It is powerful. Highly recommend "Hey, Hey What Can I Do," "Ramble On," and "Over the Hills and Far Away" as three songs definitely worth listening to from Led Zeppelin. I've watched all your reactions and you haven't gotten to either of these gems yet.
Zeppelin is not about "greatest hits" but entire albums. That's the way they were made. All the songs make more sense when in context. Pink Floyd, the Who and a few others did this as well.
@@DaveEver-i5f The old vinyl albums with the art on the cover and sleeves, sometimes lyrics, sometimes not. Physical Graffiti had a brilliant sliding die-cut cover that made iconic figures appear in the windows. My brother from another mother.... thanks for checking this one out. It grows on you like a fungus, that your ok with. This is definitely not a one time listen. Much like the entire Zeppelin catalog, every time you listen, your gonna notice new things. Thank You
SO LOVE THIS SONG!!! The "off-notes" and chord progressions appeal to me, very much!! Their creative nature, as a band, was ALL ENCOMPASSING!! To me: THIS is a BANGER!!!
It’s the lyrics for me. Many of us find ourselves reflecting on a significant past relationship that had to end because both involved took different paths. That person will always hold a special place in our heart and memories. The music fits well with the lyrics too.
When I watch reactions, I'm reminded that I don't know the names of any Zeppelin songs. I just know it's Zeppelin, and if I had to, I can hum the tune or whatever, to tell someone what it is. The names were never said aloud. No DJ ever said, Up next folks, the new hit single from The Led Zeppelins! It's just not that kind of band. They weren't marketed like that; you just bought the new record and you got what you got. It was never a debate. You didn't NEED to be sold.
In the lyrics he keeps talking about birds, and I think the guitar solos sounds very alike the singing of a bird, both the melody, Jimmy's interpretation and the tone, which makes it very emotional. Zeppelin is my favorite band, and this song is really special to me both musically and lyrically. I think that the "first love" experience is the same for everyone, so it's easy to understand why. Three different songs go on my top 1 favorite by them: this one, That's the Way and Dancing Days. Looking forward to your reaction of those.
In the top 3 of my favorite Zep songs, of course the number one spot is always whatever Zep song is being played.
What a great answer. I highly Agree!❤️😊
Great comment!!!
This one, will grow on you over time, unappreciated classic that just gets lost in all the masterpieces! 👊
One day, treat yourself to listening to the whole Physical Graffiti album. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
One of my favorite Zeppelin tunes. Physical Graffiti is an epic album filled with brilliant music. In The Light is my favorite Zep song. You ought to react to that gorgeous song. Keep up the great work!
In the Light has always had such a nice positivity with such well-balanced dynamics. It really is underappreciated.
One of zeppelin's absolute best, extremely underrated.
This and the Rain Song are top notch
The most versatile band that we’ll ever know. The layered guitars in this song are epic.
This one is at the top of the Led Zeppelin hierarchy. It is beautifully written, played, and produced. Perfectly ethereal and one that makes you reminisce and think of lost moments...
Everything Zeppelin does, sounds like a masterpiece ✨️
i have been listening to Led Zepplin for 50 years, still rockin!!!!!!!!!
I call 50 years of listening to Zep a Newbie lol
Hands down a 10/10. One of the greatest Zeppelin songs ever created. This is the only song that I have watched you rate that I do not agree with, but we all have different styles of music that we like. I would listen to the song again and then see what you think about it. :)

Love this track, a softer side of Zeppelin, I find it truly beautiful

Yeah, I LOVE this song. "Physical Graffiti" is probably my favorite Led Zeppelin album, and this is one of my favs on the album.

The song is a 10 out of 10 - no matter what it is compared to. ❤ Great reaction Polo !
Hell yeah!
I wish they would’ve done this song with their No Quarter album they did. I think it would’ve been so great with a string arrangement
The melancholia hits me in the heart-just the inevitability of it; Ten out of ten.
Kind of a dreamy, rainy day song. I've heard it but never listened this close. Very nice.
This song is a 10 all day
Definitely, in my top 5 favorite songs of all time, by any artist. This song grows on you, as you listen to a more often. And then you realize it is an absolute gem.
This one ages like fine wine. Give it another listen
EVERY Led Zepplin song is my favorite
Robert’s tender “oh, darlin”s. ❤
Love everything they do! Whatever mood I’m in they have a song for each feeling/ mood!! They all have such great things they bring to the music! Genius!RIP John Bonham! ❤❤❤❤

The Rain Song, No Quarter, Ten Years Gone.. Are all home runs for me!!
OMG Yesss i LUV this song so very MUCH it is very Special to me makes me cry sometimes to me it is incredibly Beautiful
More understated song but so beautiful and dreamy. Every one of their songs is superb for every mood.
Great Track.. the best thing about Led Zeppelin is not every song is a popular one with everyone, but almost every song by them is absolutely epic.
No One sounds like Led Zeppelin? It is just Brilliance!!! Tell me you couldn't just sit down on your couch and with a good stereo, and just let them take you on a musical journey! I love it!!!!
This one grows on you. I came to really love this song.
You hit the nail on the head. The preference of a song can greatly depend on your mood. This song is great when you reminisce! The bottom line is LZ knows how to hit every emotional state via their entire catalog! Because they are that talented. I love this song!
Love this one. In my top 3 for sure. I’ve been a fan over 40 years. I think it’s beautiful & it rates right up there with Stairway to me.
I absolutely LOVE this song!
OMG are you kidding me Polo????? This is a love song talking about remembering what love was after time past. Everything they do is so different from the previous tunes. Who out there could match the diversity within their songs. Love this song. One of my favorites.
Bonzo and Page are one in this classic tune. THE 🐐s
Absolutely a favorite of mine. I love their rocking songs, but it's nice to hear a more ballad-like tune that still has that driving sound.
Definitely one of my top ten Zep songs! Rain song is another masterpiece 👍
Definitely in my top 5. Haunting and just brilliant! 😍
You’re the most masterful reaction, video and commentator of experience and comparison. Love you, man.❤
You absolutely got them!!!! What you said on this video is EXACTLY what makes them still so popular to this day!! Creativity is exactly what they are! Whoops I texted too soon? Lol! I like what you said at the beginning only? Lol!

I listened to this album today at work. Such a great record. This one and "The Wanton Song" are my favorites.
This song has grown on me my whole life. Meaning, since they first put it out here! Anytime I hear it? I like it better than the last time I heard it. It’s music to my ears. 😁💕
One of their greatest....which is saying a lot.

I also can't pick top 10 Zeppelin tunes, Ten Years Gone is a beautiful song I love very much.
They allowed us to navigate their musical journey with them. What a great band
Physical Graffiti is my favorite Zeppelin album. I am 61 years old and my first concert, at age 14 was Zep. In the last decade I would say that this and the Rain Song have come to the top of my favorites list..
Restarting a Zeppelin song is never a mess up ! 👍
When I bought that album when it first came out I listened to this song over and over. Great album like all their albums.

I agree totally with you.
This song is a masterpiece. Led Zeppelin were so ahead of their time. ❤
It's another 10 out of 10 from probably my favorite led Zeppelin album. One of those albums that you have to listen to all four sides.
Led Zeppelin is a VIBE. We do not skip Led Zeppelin tracks on an album. Lol!
In terms of favorites, it is one of mine. I love th wistful melancholy of the melody, also the words in the verse are soulful and insightful.
One of my top 5 Led Zep songs
I remember when this album came out. I bought it on 8-Track tape and literally wore that tape out This is one of my absolutely favs on the album. I'm 70 yrs. old now but it never gets old. Thanks Polo.
"I Can't Quit You Babe", is my favorite but this is at the top of the list! ❤
This is one of my favorite song of theirs!
I felt the same way about this song when I first heard it. It gets better as you listen to it more times. Now I love it.
1st time I ever spoke to my wife, it was a phone call, this was playing in her background. We're still together, 33 yrs married, and it's still like brand new. ❤

One of my favorite Zep songs! Love when you get the "stank" face Polo...🥰
You may have heard your “favorite part” of this song before since it was sampled by Tupac on one of his songs I believe.
This is my all time fav. song.
Top five for me and one of page's best solos.
My all time favorite Zeppelin song
Led Zeppelin favorites are
1. Kashmir
2 Stairway
3. Over the Hills far away

I just finished typing the same thing. I’d love to see him really take in entire albums.
YAY ALBUM ROCK!!!

Thanks for more Led Zeppelin 😊
This album is one of favorites from zeppelin! And I love them all.
Watching your reactions makes me happy to see someone else hear my favorites for the first time. Appreciate you Polo
I remember beeing stuned by first 2 albums and listening them over and over again. Then this album came to my hands. What a twist in idea, feeling etc. Album has such a special atmosphere. A masterpiece of unique kind.

This is probably their best, speaking from the heart

First Led Zeppelin song I learned on guitar, and my favorite.
This is one of my top 3 Zeppelin songs ❤❤❤
My brother from another mother.... thanks for checking this one out. It grows on you like a fungus, that your ok with. This is definitely not a one time listen. Much like the entire Zeppelin catalog, every time you listen, your gonna notice new things.
Thank You
this is my #2.. my fav Zep tune will always be "in the light"
To be honest I can't put a ten best song list together of Led Zeppelin, it just keeps changing every time I listen to one of their albums.
Good to hear it 😊
SO LOVE THIS SONG!!! The "off-notes" and chord progressions appeal to me, very much!! Their creative nature, as a band, was ALL ENCOMPASSING!! To me: THIS is a BANGER!!!

Has always been my favourite LZ track. So full of melancholy. Give it time, it will climb your list.
