  • Going to the record store and hunting for new music is one of my favorite things and it really fuels my passion for music. I hit a lot of different ones through New York City but the ones in this video are my favorite. It’s not uncommon to find me at one of these every few weeks. Because you never know what you might find! Join me discussing these great stores and see first hand why I love them so much!

Can I ask wich one of this (or maybe others) do you recommend if I´m interested on 80's/90's Pop 12" singles and/or CD singles mainly? And, on the other hand, are there any record shop in NYC where to find New releases? Or all of them use to work with old and udes music stuff, and the new stuff is now only on-line shopping? Thanks in advance for your help!!

I've yet to go check out the ACADEMY of MUSIC.I always have trouble looking for that place I know it's in either the chealsea area or the Manhattan area I'm not sure but I'm determining to find it.I also want to check out westsider records hope to find that anyway,thanks for the info of all these locations stay safe and be well.

    Cool record stores! I know there are a few record stores where I'm from, but only the BookOff is easier to get to. The others I would have to make the trip and plan out how to get there. What are the prices for those CDs/vinyls at those stores you mentioned? I went to a record shop in town and I thought the CDs/vinyls were a bit overpriced (even the used ones).

    • @BrendonSnyder
      @BrendonSnyder  2 года назад

      That’s the thing it’s all getting over priced because the stores are becoming boutique shops. With not that many around and physical formate music being hard to finds everyone can raise their prices which is unfortunate. Because it wasn’t that long ago that these items didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

    • @lateramae
