True. But for that price, most similarly priced soundbars have less proficient drivers and most other "features" are already built into the TV or mobile phones.
@@PrezidentHughes i have the JBL 308p - they are not always super clear with TV voice, but great for music. Soundbars are made with low latency, these need a DAC - which hopefully get digital from you TV - and ideally there is no delay in that.

They are loud, and latter you can add jbl sub from the same series to get excellent combo.
Lol, they are super loud. I also use they on outdor without any problem (i know that monitors, but people don't care if they sounds good).
I just bought a pair. I chose these over adam t8vs. How is the bass on normal settings? Going to use this for DJ mixing. I hope it can go loud.

with optical cable to DAC and then with xlr to speakers, but you can simply use optical to rca adapter.
i've read complaints about the 308s being quiet... Relative to various other monitors. do you think they struggle with volume too?

no, No need for a subwoofer if you are using them in an apartment. But we are looking for JBL subwoofer to test it as well.
