      @JohnEyubehdabron 4 года назад +3

      You are not the only one fooled. The whole world has been LIED to and DECEIVED about how Africa looks like. You have to keep in mind, the western media is there to promote the western world. So they always show only the beautiful side of the western world (and not the ugly side), in order to make sure everyone keeps coming over there...so tens of billions of dollars can continue to flow in On the hand, they show only the ugly side of many countries in Africa, and not the beautiful places, in order to DISCOURAGE and SCARE you away from the continent. The world is a tourist destination. The western world would LOSE tens of billions of dollars per year, if people get to know Africa...start to see the continent as a tourist destination...and start to travel to the continent. Imagine, when Ghana launched and hosted an amazing event called, "The Year of Return" in 2019...it grossed over $1 billion in revenues. Now, just imagine if many more countries in Africa, focus on tourism and start to promote it...there's going to be a MASSIVE boom in tourism...which will affect many countries in the western world...because those tens of billions of dollars flowing into the western world...would now go into many African countries. Whenever money is involved on the world stage, you are going to see DIRTY politics being played.

      @@TefnutUaRaet we're not a paradise as any country in the world isn't. The apartheid system ceased in 1990 with the dawn of independence but its long effect of over 100 years can still be felt through high social inequality. Just like in the US a liberal society, blacks are still trampled upon even with all laws to protect citizens it doesn't prevent blacks from being highest victims of police brutality.
      Yes the inequality is very frustrating but with a reckless approach to its redress, we're likely to make mistakes that will play us into the hands of our detractors (Western world and Asia) which have ganged up for our resources and counting on any opportunity to give us sanctions which will in the end compel us to surrender our sovereignty to them. They did the same thing in Zimbabwe and now the country is heavily indebted to them which in the long run will compel the country to surrender some of its sovereignty to them.
      Our challenge right now is a right leadership which we hardly get as we are always imposed with Western and Asian proxies as our leaders who in the end do little to address past socio-economic injustices. I hold the view that we educate our people first and foremost as opposed to Western brainwashing. We need innovative education that will uplift our people from poverty and right laws of addressing colonial artefacts such as on land and property ownership.

    • @josephnakale7343
      @josephnakale7343 4 года назад +1

      Namibia like any other country on this planet is having its challenges no doubt, but apartheid is not one of those challenges. Yes inequality is visible due to more than hundred years of colonial. But our government is working hard non stop to rectify and alleviate those challenges
      Be assured that there are so many detractors who are envy our achievement which we managed to get in a short space of time.Considering that that we only got our independence on 21 March 1990,So by comparison with many countries Namibia have done better so far.
