It seems like I forgot to mention the original composer of this masterpiece. Huge credit to Varga-Bíró Tamás, who performed this amazing piece of art. I do not claim this song as mine, and I will not refer to this song as if I made it.

The Mongol nomadic warriors conquered everything while marching west, and it was the equally ferocious Hungarian steppe warriors who stopped them. It's fascinating how Hungarians managed to be both the most and the least European people in Europe at the same time. I'm a Pole from Ukraine and I love all steppe cultures. Sarmatians, Hungarians and Turks are real brothers.
I'm french and while I don't have any important bloodties to steppe warriors and I admire the roman empire, step warriors are something else man, they are fascinating rly... absolutely nothing to do with mediteranean cultures built in stone but holy shit they were bad asses, huns sarmatians cumans magyars mongols tatars... idk much but I wish Ik more. Maybe one can argue that Hungarian is not so musical language like Italian for example, but I love its characteristical, concrete sound and how their music, despite of so many years in Europe, still makes you think of wide central Asian steps..
"Concrete" is exactly how I would call it. Anyway it shares some phonological features with Italian, and I find it musical as well.
@@leandroulpio7473 It can be said endeed it has quite rich vowel inventory (all that a, e, i, o, ö, ü, u with its long counterparts á, é, í, ó, ő, ú, ű, and the sound of "é" something between "i" and "e" is quite pleasant to my ears), nevertheless in terms of musicality I would compare it rather with Finnish, with whom Hungarian shares more similar sounds and is, of course, related :)

Dang, I swear this song is tricking my brain! I can feel that it's (my brain) focusing so hard to understand it, because it sounds exactly like Turkish, and not understanding it making it so confused.
Check out the original one too! It's in the description.
don't be surprised, your brain is a mixture of Hungarian Turkish and Manysi language, you should understand if you saw every 4th-5th grade written in Hungarian in separate words. you would understand the word even if you didn't pronounce it that way in Turkish
@@jozsefkovacs3073 What you commented about my mixture matches with what we're taught in Turkish schools (Uralic/Altaic languages). But, I have never heard about Manysi (Mansi) people before. Thanks to you, now I have some knowledge about the Manysi (Mansi) people. It's especially good to learn more about my/our roots.
@@CA-kj4sf During the time of the Scythian Empire, the Manysi people were a people living in the forested steppe region along the Urals. Although the Hungarian tribes lived in this area, they were linguistically and genetically mixed. At that time, the old Hungarians still spoke the Old Turkic language, the Manysi people and Finno-Ugric, the present-day Hungarian language was formed from the fusion of these two languages. To this day, linguists debate about which language family the Hungarian language should belong to. In the genetic material of 896 living Hungarians, Hun - Avar - Scythian - Sarmatian - Manysi genes are mixed. Nowadays, neither the Turks nor the Finnish peoples would understand the Hungarian language, they would feel familiar, they would even understand some words or phrases due to the duality of the Hungarian language. The Manysi people still exist today, they live in the north-eastern part of Russia. If you search for what they look like, you will be surprised. They are a little Mongolian, a little European, a little Turkish. Uighurs look the same in China, but they have a slightly stronger Mongolian influence
@@jozsefkovacs3073 Thank you for valuable information. I researched Hungarian language a bit but I had thought that It was finno-ugric steppe language. However, It always bugged me. Because as a Turk, I could get a strong sense of familiarity when listening to Hungarian. Absolutely amazing. I guess I was partly right, but not fully.

The whole aesthetic, the melody and the contents of it are all medieval related. This is why so many people upload this song as medieval. Also... If somebody once heard this song as medieval, they might search for it as a medieval song. I just made sure for them to find it :D
