The whole aesthetic, the melody and the contents of it are all medieval related. This is why so many people upload this song as medieval. Also... If somebody once heard this song as medieval, they might search for it as a medieval song. I just made sure for them to find it :D

Werent they Taltoists?
@@ulaniusmaximus interesting question... honestly i don't know
@@ulaniusmaximus Well the old hungarian faith was of Scythian shamanism origin, and if look at the old maps where Magyars were believed to be, we can also confirm that there was influence of Islam and and Christianity from East and West. The Scythians are also mentioned in the Bible (Old Testament, Magog= Geography Scythia Magogia; New Testament ...There is no barbarian or Scythian...)
Power Full strong song!!!
Your thumbnail confirmed Hungarians are indeed descendants of the nomads from Central Asia.

I am amazed by how Hungarians turned from Mongolian/Hun conquerors into a Christian people. Fascinating history.
Ez fantasztikus remelem meg nem vesztunk ki :) ❤😅😅😊😊
No offense, but I'm not entirely sure why some people (including you) pass this song off as being a 'medieval' song when this has clearly been only very recently composed. Again, no offense, thanks for bringing this song to us because it fucking slaps, but why the 'medieval' label?
The whole aesthetic, the melody and the contents of it are all medieval related. This is why so many people upload this song as medieval. Also... If somebody once heard this song as medieval, they might search for it as a medieval song. I just made sure for them to find it :D
@@numbdeeds3878 You know what, entirely understandable lmao. I've been trying to find folk music for a Hungarian-themed portion of a video game I'm making and I've came up empty handed so far, and I thought this was the melody that would be my salvation :,D
@@eternalwarfare514 what age would you like songs to? I am hungarian myself and could potentially help :D
@@numbdeeds3878 *gasp* A Hungarian! What are the chances XD I'm really just looking for anything thats either WW2-era or prior, but preferrably medieval music because it's more... "neutral", I suppose? I don't plan on using a piece whole hog, just taking the melody and making a rearrangement.
(I actually tried asking the composer of Idönek Ideje for permission to rearrange, but I got an unclear answer in return)
@@numbdeeds3878 It also doesn't help that there isn't a lot of true medieval Hungarian music on RUclips, or at least what I've been able to find (most of the good ones seem to be recent compositions unfortunately)
Great song, but very clearly a modern composition or at least interpretation, the language is around 1900s era formal sounding, but not middle ages.
"Medieval STYLE", not medieval
Gyönyörű!

RUclips won't let me post links so I write the name of the singer and the name of the song. two samples;
1) İrfan Gürdal- Han Çadırı
2) İrfan Gürdal- Baş bir yana leş bir yana
The first one is very old Turkish warrior poem. He talks about how he killed the enemy and that no one could hold him back.
The second one is closer to the Ottoman period. It tells the story of a warrior named Köroğlu demanding tribute from the Ottoman Pashas and challenging them.
Please no English subtitles. Köszönöm szépen 😊.

Egy disclaimer lenne szükséges, hogy ez nem igazi középkori zene, hanem egy jelenkori kompozíció. Igazából nem is maradt, sajnos, magyar zene a középkorból.
Igaz. Mi lenne ha átírnám középkori stílusú dalra?
