I've been with my husband 17 years and we rarely travel together. Some think it's odd but we just have very different preferences! Sign of a secure relationship ☺️ he's planning to go to Japan next year, not my thing but I'm excited for him! X

So excited to watch!! I’m planning my first solo trip alone and this is making me more excited❤❤ we have animals at home so it’s difficult to travel together, my boyfriend is fully supportive of me going too! I’m hoping it’ll make me feel more independent xx
I went to corfu on my own about five years ago (i had to do something for myself as i was feeling so depressed after a bad breakup and suffer with depression and anxiety anyway) the hardest part was leaving my youngest with my mum. I didnt go anywhere at night but i was happy with that, i enjoyed it so much,certainly liberating! Im going to do it again once ive got my health sorted and my high blood pressure. Well done you!
10:06 wise words. You won't see those people again and you're there to make memories and to me part of that is taking photos/videos to capture those memories as they happen so you can look back on them as time passes. You would end up regretting it if you didn't take those opportunities so sod what people say or think and just do it

I really loved Copenhagen and it actually started snowing when we were sitting at a bar along by the coloured houses❤ it was just stunning!!!
My first solo trip was to Dublin totally alone but have travelled alone to family in America since I was 19.
But sometimes I think it's nice to do things for yourself and know that you CAN look after yaself and be self sufficient and get back safe and sound lol. ❤
I’ve been with my hubby 34 years and haven’t travelled anywhere alone , & now couldn’t if I wanted to due to ill health. So Demi if you enjoy do it girl. Well done 👍🏼
loving the glasses Demi my other half have been together 38 years and we take separate trips as well as together trips it shows that you're both totally secure in your relationship rather than having to do everything together you should both be very proud of yourselves xx

Hey well done for solo travelling! It's super scary. Just a tip for future travels you can download maps on Google for certain areas and then access them offline! Great for these situations!

Ah i love solo traveling. Heading to Barbados at the end of April. You can always travel solo even if you are in a relationship, you don't need to be stuck to each other all your life

Whenever I travel I tend to stay at and visit the less touristy areas. I find they are usually quieter, nicer, lots to see and do and a lot cheaper than the more tourist areas
You stumbled upon the salty liquorice. A favourite for Scandinavians! I don’t get it either but at least you tried it! Well done for doing your first solo trip. I do it a lot but I’m just antisocial!

What are the main attractions in Copenhagen? Obviously the houses and canal ride but what else, why did you choose Copenhagen?

This might sound stupid but I've never actually known anyone else to collect little keepsakes and souvenirs for their scrapbook. I literally keep everything and end up with so much for my travel scrapbook, it's a bit ridiculous but I love remembering everywhere I've been 😊
Did you see the little mermaid statue in Copenhagen? Also Normal is a great shop, they have them in Norway too!

I went to Copenhagen in December and it’s one of my favourite city breaks I went with mum but said it would be perfect for solo travelling as it feels so safe and the metro is so easy to use. We struggled in the evenings for vegan food. Breakfast fine but in the day was hard. I used the same vegan restaurant as you and it was so good. There’s and Irish and English pub next to each other opposite tivolli which is very cheap for drinks and does live music so I’d recommend that as everything was so expensive there. Hope you enjoy your trip and you have inspired me to do my own solo trip

One of the things you want to take note of is how often Sean/mum help you make a decision when you talk to them (if any)
For travelling when you arrive go to a supermarket to get drinks then just take them with you every day. Will save you a fortune. Also research cheap eats etc before you go. X

Translating foreign words is so easy on Google translate. Literally click the camera and it will translate as you're looking at it. Highly recommend when buying weird sweets 😅😂

Unfortunately, you can only take one bag of liquids per person, when I travel, I take a wild deodorant and a solid moisturiser from lush!

I’m so glad to see other women solo travelling! I’ve been solo travelling for 2 years now and have been to log cabins over the U.K. and travelled to the Caribbean twice on my own for 2 weeks!
