Disruptive student Teferi would later grow on to be a powerful planeswalker himself and at one point going against one of the most powerful planeswalkers ever and surviving the encounter. Teferi is one of my most favorite characters in Magic, from being a problem child to becoming one of the most powerful planesalkers ever.
wow these are great very well produced been looking for something like this for a while. hitting like and letting the ads run all the way through each time then clicking the link below the video. Please keep making these
1 mistake here. Urza actually DIES at the hands of Radiant. the book clearly states her raking thru his brain. The connection of the Might and Weakstone do more than bring Urza back to full health, they REVIVE HIM.
This is turning out to be a pretty awesome story. You have done an amazing job with the narration and the relevant cards. I really hope you keep going an eventually do the Kamigawa story. I was fortunate enough to read the last book. I couldn't pit it down, and read it in 2 days!
THANK YOU for summarizing these books in such an interesting & funny way. It took me so long to read through these books because they were so dry. Sure, there were some interesting parts, but beyond that they were boring.
Wow the Magic lore is so rich, I had no idea. I started playing on and off since Ravnica and I was unaware of any of this backstory. Thanks for making these videos!
Re-read "Planeswalker." Leaving Serra's Realm was a mutual decision. Urza's and Xantcha's presence was destabilizing her plane, which was hard enough to keep intact. And, the invasion did not happen until after Urza's departure.
Wedge, let me ask you something, in Jace´s Book "Agents of Artifice", its said that you cant planeswalk another person and that´s why he couldn´t escape from Ravinica plane with Kallist... But Urza can planeswalk several people in this book... Does this have something to do with the Powerstones making Urza a special case? Or Am I just rushing the things up? hahaha
+Antonio Tadeu Ferreira Sobrinho Actually, on of the books explain that to solve this problem Urza turns people in stone (or something inanimate) and then convert back to normal, so he can planeswalk them.
It's so sad that planeswalkers weren't a part of the game back then, because I would be happy to have a playset of foil Urzas. I guess Karn liberated will do for now. :)
Wedge! Are there any other ways to support The Mana Source? I'm talking like, "buy these singles from X Store using our link that gives us money" or "here's our Patreon page" and such.
Thank you so much for inquiring about this. We haven't started a patreon page yet and we haven't signed up for sponsors at all. We're working on both at the moment with Patreon being the more immediate situation. I'll let you know when that becomes a thing. Thanks for wanting to support the channel
deathpresent101 planes are different realities. there are unknown numbers of planes because the older planes collapsed and newer planes are born. no way for even planeswalkers to track them all
Jhoira's art makes him look very female. But that's just me. I think the lore could be more interesting from an R&D perspective based on that alone. And Jhoira feels like a feminine name.
From most "for sure" to least "for sure": Abyss is a monoblack plane. Wildfire is a monored plane. Serra's Realm [was] monowhite. Equilor (hypothetically) may be an all colorless or monoblue plane. Dominaria may have been originally monogreen (as Gaea).

The future agrees, Tef is powerful.

This has a lot to do with the Mending. We don't cover that for awhile, so you're a bit ahead :p
Okay, I´m holding my horses guys! :D
+Antonio Tadeu Ferreira Sobrinho Actually, on of the books explain that to solve this problem Urza turns people in stone (or something inanimate) and then convert back to normal, so he can planeswalk them.
my god... this story is so cool!!
Barrin is a boss!
It's so sad that planeswalkers weren't a part of the game back
then, because I would be happy to have a playset of foil Urzas. I guess Karn liberated will do for now. :)
I heard the destruction of Serra's Realm is how Angels spread across the multiverse.
R.I.P Elspeth ;(
Wedge will you be doing a reveiw on the story of Theros?
We will, but it'll be awhile. lol

URZA's block is like the best in all of MTG.
LONG LIVE URZA's block!
You tell em!
Thank you
You are doing holy work
Keep it up :)
man hopefully Urza will be printed as a planeswalker in the new fate reforged
when is the next video!!!!
Are these videos actually going back all the way to the beginning of MTG?
Yep...parts 2-4 basically cover the first 3 books of the MTG storyline. Part 1 is the Thran story which is a prequel.
We're not even close, but I'm exploding waiting for Zendikar lore Dx.
You must be in this for the long haul :p
Well, I know I am :)
cool
are we currently in the future time rift? unitl an unknown point?
or possibly known but hidden
so are plains planets or are they completely different universe's. and if so does that mean when they plin shift is there infinite planets there.
deathpresent101 planes are different realities. there are unknown numbers of planes because the older planes collapsed and newer planes are born. no way for even planeswalkers to track them all
Must build flavor decks 3 Gix, Urza, and Mirsha......
Elspheth Died... Called it... She will be missed... but I totes called it..
Can anyone let me know where to start in collecting any books / comics to get the history of magic.

Thanks!

did a bit of research and Jhoira is female
going back and listening better I made a mistake my bad, you got it.
I thought he was a female too
Old video. Dont care.
Wedge is cool as hell.
Is there a plane of only 1 color of mana
Kinda serras realm, but not really
From most "for sure" to least "for sure":

Damn dood Urza is just like Luffy from one piece. Be always being imprisoned
DEM STRIPED SHIRTS!
Wtf is plains walk ?
It basically means teleporting from one plane of existence to another.
Creature can't be blocked if defending player controls a plains
