Prizza feels like an older brother nudging you into the right direction in life whenever you’re down. I’ve never felt such a personal connection with a RUclipsr like him before
I'm probably on the older side of Mike's audience, so it feels more like a younger brother doing awesome stuff that you're excited to hear about every week. Still inspirational!
The integra is such a sick car, I’m excited to see the full refresh on it in the future. I also just purchased some of my first merch, got the jet tag and a 300zx shirt.
I always find the "I get to work on my project" rather than the "I have to work on my project" mindset to be way more productive, similar to self improvement you gotta ease into it of course, but if you're looking forward to the next thing then you'll have a better time staying motivated
3:10 I'm glad I'm not the only one. My older brother always gives me a hard time about "wasting time" by not using power tools but sometimes it's more enjoyable to go slower. With hiking, I see a lot of people go to trails in another state and rush through them rather than slowing down and taking in the new scenery, which is how I developed a love for photography. Life isn't a race, slow down and enjoy the moments you have here.
@@Cobra_427 I completely relate to this When we go on hikes we end up stopping at almost every overlook possible, while it seems most people are focused on the destination
Great to see the OG get some love! Also the unsubscribing thing is real! I got unsubbed from another youtuber when I missed like 2 uploads, I just thought he stopped uploading then had like 10 videos to catch up on
Hey, ive said it before. But im sure one more time will not hurt for anyone. Lanolin oil/Fluid Film is a great solution for us that have salt on the roads half the year... My Volvo 940 has been treated since new in 1995. and apart from the spots fluid film didnt cover, the car is spotless! I'm certain the car would be scrapped long ago if it wasn't for lanolin oil under-treatments Lanolin oils does not dry-out or encapsulate rust. it can be applied to both rusty cars and brand new ones. if its already rusty, lanolin slows the rust process down significantly Sounds like a miracle product, whats the downside, you might say? Well, it smells like sheep when applying and the first weeks after. and its not a one time treatment since it doesn't dry. It will also wash away after a while in the "splash zones" of the car. its recommended to apply a new coat every second year. I like to do it every Autumn. check out YT channel Repair Geek if you're more curious on the subject. I hope to see you use it! Thanks for listening to my TedTalk!
I second the idea for fluid film. Used the stuff on a super rusty civic and wrx wagon with good results. The smell while it’s definitely noticeable is not all that bad, and for how well it keeps crap out it’s more than worth it. You can do an entire underbody with ~3 cans depending on how big the car is and how liberal you apply
@@PrizzaMike You wont regret it! Since youre in the states. Surface Shield (made by B'laster Corp) might be an even better product than woolwax or fluid film. But all in all. Any lanolin based under coating is a blessing for any car driving on salt.
Oh Mike, I appreciate you so much that you activated the Spanish audio for all your Latin American followers! Keep it up bro! We support you from here!
Can’t wait to see the restoration video! Just bought my first project car and agree with the no power tools 100%. Also just realizing we live in the same area I go to that car wash all the time!
The rhd integra is (oddly, considering the cars you have) one of my favorites. I feel like a shirt that says "commitment to cool" would suit it perfectly. Being both the ideal work truck, and also rhd converted, 5 lug, and jdm front end converted.
Man when Mike says he's going to restore a car he's one of the few youtubers you can believe what they say. I'm not at all a fan of the slammed life because it just wrecks cars and I hate seeing mike have to redo stuff again and have it cost him money but you just can't help having massive respect for him all the same. Mike man your a legend!
I love that you went back to the classic-style thumbnails. It fits the personality of your channel so much better! Much love, Mike. Looking forward to you getting into a shop! :)
The integra videos hit differently, I guess it's because they are so relatable to our own projects. Seeing you not give up on a car that is plagued by rust, inspires me to have that mindset and not give up on my project. Even if it's the easier choice. Thank you for the videos Mike.
It would be nice to see that car all new again, and it would be a good time to find a truck and have the Integra be a vehicle for daily use but not for cargo. It's good to see the motivation you put into it.
Im very not a honda/fwd type of dude, but that integra just has some sort of story to it. Its different, i absolutely love that car. Keep up the great work Mike, hope to meet you someday!
Its funny I completely agree with you when it comes to using hand tools on your own vehicles vs using power tools yes it may take longer to do so but knowing i did it right the first time especially when its something i plan on keeping just makes it all worth it to me
I'm looking forward in watching you restore your integra. Just got one 4 months ago as a project. Watching you restore it will continue to motivate me keep on going.
Im the same way. I still have my very first car I got at the age of 17. 1992 Honda Civic Lx. Full restore is soon to come. Im 29 now and its a big goal of mine to fully restore and paint. Can’t wait to see the update
ive been waiting for the teggy to get some love mike honestly youre the best keep doing what youre doing, dont change and youll get a shop in no time !
when it comes time to restore this car, you should try find a b18c type r or jdm b18c gsr for it since you got the jdm front and rhd swap. i know they’re near impossible to come by and worth a pretty penny when you do come across one, but i feel like it would be very appropriate for this build
Gates make great timing components! They are used in Subaru models almost 95% of the time. I used it in a few of my Subaru’s and lasted well over 100k miles.
