Amazing how even the smaller-medium parts of the bear family like Sloth Bears, can take on one of the best in the cat family such as Tigers.
same with a amur tiger killing larger bears like the brown bear the book der tiger states it large mal bronw bear amazing. also 1904 a male tiger got mad killed the largest polar in the circus a big male just cause it was angry. big cats are no joke.
@@alkebulanlion6198 there is not a single recorded case of an amur tiger killing or even fighting a fully grown healthy male brown, grizzly or polar bear (the zoo incident is not confirmed whether the polar bear was healthy or whether it even happened at all). Amurs mostly target juvenile brown bears or hibernating female bears that too very rarely. Bengal tigers in India are known to kill and eat sloth bears but sloth bears are only a third the size of a grizzly or polar and still they give the tigers a real hard time
@@alkebulanlion6198 Also a male tiger killed a T-Rex just because his wife cheated on him
My favorite bear 🐻 is Polar Bear ❄ 🐻
Good video
4:09 wait. a kodiak bear is maybe same size as polar bear, but a california grizzly is waaay heavier?
Kodiak is the heaviest thats a mistake.
Kodiak bears are smaller than polar bears
@@miticodevisCalifornia grizzly was bigger I think
@@thxcbo you think wrong.
@@miticodevis The biggest grizzly weighted 2200 pounds and was from California so it weighted the same as a kodiak. Also their was a lot more prey and fish near the coast so it makes sense

Southamerican Short-Faced Bear
This chart reminds me of my younger (Thinner) days until food won!
If you feel that animals today are scary, just remember that there used to be a freaking 2 ton bear just 11,000 years ago and our ancestors most likely had to deal with it.
and it was 11-14ft standing up taller than a indian elephant
@@user-gq3eq5bf9t
14 feet is even taller than an African elephant.
They also had to deal with a 18 foot tall elephant (Palaeoloxodon namadicus).
@@UmongusSussehFrusseh who asked bro?
Aw they don't that bad they look cute and stronger than the liger just imagine if these we're still alive they won't do no harm

So you think the Grizzlies are a fantasy?
The polar bear is heavier than some of the bears that are taller than it and also taller than some of the bears that Weigh more than it.
The "cinnamon bear" is an American black bear, cinnamon phase. It's not a separate species.
They know they are just putting every kind or look a bear takes on
it IS a distinct subspecies though

The size of the arctotherium was greatly overestimated, scientists found out that the bone found was broken, and therefore it increased so much.
Mate, look at the size of the first one.
Gobi Brown bear
Funnily enough ice age black bears averaged 200-400kg. They were grizzly bear sized back then. Although the largest individuals can still attain that size
