I stumbled upon this video a couple of nights ago and I think I've rewatched it something like 50 times ever since. At first, I was so mesmerized I couldn't put my feelings into words but this piece of work deserves all of them and even more. I think this might be my all time favourite video. It has everything: the crescendo of the music - which you used oh so very well, the perfect balance between action and emotions, such a deep understanding of all these characters and their journey which shows in the faces/quotes you accurately picked and edited altogether like they were just meant to be there at that specific point of the music (and really, I cannot listen to the song anymore without hearing the voiceovers in my head and that is a sign a video has completely ruined me) and the general message of it all which was the perfect summa of what the show was and what it means to each one of us fans. I could point out countless parts that made me hold my breath, kept me on the edge of the chair and shiver, from the very first beginning with gaius opening his eyes in perfect sync with the music... but from 3:30 on I started crying shamelessly (the way you edited kara walking in resurrection ship pt. 2 and her words afterwards followed by the pain of roslin/adama and the struggle of sam/tigh/tory.. man, this part was one of the most brilliant things I've ever seen in my life) and 4:01 came, the shooting starts, people cry/scream/die (the transition between gina's gun to lee's is so spot on fshjfsjhdj also TIGH and sam and six and kara closing her eyes - god I hate everything) and I die. The coda... lol I don't even wanna talk about it. just know I will carry every single second of this video in my heart forever and I could never be thankful enough to you for your priceless work.

Incredibly stylistic editing and true to the foundations of the show... survival, suffering, forgiveness, destiny. This vid encapsulates all of that so perfectly. That's a good video. Many of the trailers and montages on youtube seem to concentrate almost entirely on the space battles, which makes me think those people don't really 'get' BSG. This video is much better.
This was some of the more harrowing and breathtaking experiences I have seen in a while, and I just want to say: Thank you. Truly. This video had to be made, for all those who love BSG as much as I do. So say we all.
Found this by accident. One thing to explain with my mindset as someone who does a lot of fictional writing is I project video's onto my own work. With this it matches an idea that's been brewing of taking something done (Star Trek - The Dominion War) and writing the perspective of the weight of the war and the slow demoralization of those involved on the -very- front lines which the TV series mostly skipped sadly. This to me is exactly that, and well, so was BSG as a whole. Ronald Moore got to do what he wanted with Trek here in BSG, for adults. Great vid for a lil' inspiration.
