Awesome show thanks for the memories 🙏
What a raw ass series... Just finished all 4 seasons and I've been totally obsessing about it ever since. The soundtrack for BSG is off the chain
Beautiful tribute for the fall of the twelves colonies!
Thermonuclear interplanetary armageddon set to epic music. Goosebumps and yet disturbing.
Great work. Fabolous tribute to the best tv-series in history.
The Colonial Fleet actually has approximately 120 Battlestars as Starbuck says after Cmdr Adama tells her that 30 have been destroyed, "that is almost a quarter of the fleet".
👍 4:38
Beat sound track ever, all 4 seasons were great Bear McCreary just brilliant
This video has renewed my love of the Valkyrie-class - thank you! :D
"At the time of the Cylon holocaust, the Colonial Fleet includes approximately 120 battlestars[4], thousands of smaller vessels[5], numerous squadrons of Vipers and Raptors assigned to each, and various support ships "
I haven't seen The Plan yet, but I'm glad I finally got to see what the Yashuman looks like.
You've made my week :)
LOVE that speech by Cavil at the end. That came from No Exit by the way. It was an edited version of his rant to Ellen Tigh.
People need to stop over-analyzing every detail of a show and give props where props are due. Five frakking stars, and this video is great!!!
We never forget the day the bombs fell and fifty billion people, among them everyone we ever knew were reduced to ashes. Us few survivors, we will never forget, and we will never stop fighting until every cylon is gone. Long live humanity.
that was dope!!!!!!!!
shivers down my glowing spine
i love BSG and the music.......cool
cool i love BSG the plan and the music.......
The full Gayatri Mantra, instead of just the snippet ( relatively ) from the intro. Good !
"Seized by God, they cry for succour in the dark of the light. Mists of dreams dribble on the nascent echo and love no more. Jump."
And thus began the Fall of the Colonies of Man.
I can't even spell some of these words... o.o
カラス Google works, LOL
Sounds like something a crack addict would say on steroids the writing staff had to be on something when writing that frase or any scene showing the hybrid
@@brianlindee1285 Maybe, but they would've been crack addicts with spellcheck. And it's "PHRASE" not "FRASE".

The updated version of this show and all of its movies are so epic im a trekkie but i made room for Battle Star galactica and all of its shows and movies
Great promo for The Plan. I'm psyched to watch it!
Is this a movie?! OH MY GOD I NEED TO SEE THIS!
That is was the entire ethos of the entire ethos of the show. The cycle of blood and vengeance endlessly repeating. "All of this has happened before and all of this will happen again".
i love how all of the battlestars can use there batterys as a defence mecanisem
One of the most serious depictions of space warfare ever. Star Wars and Star Trek don’t even come close to the grit of this scene.
well done loved it! thank you!
Love this!
This sounds fantastic on a good sound system
I'm a massive battlestar galactica i have ordered 1978 and 1980 dvds and battlestar galactica soundtrack 😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍
Good Job! Most people pick crappy music and marry it to cool BSG footage. You did GREAT!! BIG THUMBS UP TO YUH!!
a wonderful way to spend good footage
Incredible
Amazing
Brought it back for th last few eps
In the Miniseries, the Cylons were able to infiltrate the computers of the battlestar's through Baltar's Navigation Program. Since they were networked, the Cylons could send a signal to deactivate all Colonial units. That's why they all shut down.
wow!!!!
I LOVED that ending to the movie. Ties in PERFECTLY to the show though we don't know what happened to that other Six. It pretty much means that the Cavil in the movie is the John Cavil of the show who killed himself in Daybreak.
THE BEST TV SERIES EVER!!!!!
great video bro,keep it coming.
"I have one mission, disrupt the cylons, make them worry about the anthill they've stirred up down here so they are distracted and out of place when the old man shows up in orbit."
Wow, this is deep!
Cc caption/subtitles are frakin hilarious on this video
The Greatest Sci-fi show ever
cool i love it :)
I recommend to see first "Caprica", after, "The plan" and to end "Battlestar Galactica". That's the best way to inderstand the world of BSG in my mind :)
they had 120 battlestars, if I'm not mistaken.
In the pilot, its shown that the Colonial fleet did try to fight heads up when Boomer and Helo headed to Caprica.
The Valkyrie is a name of a Battlestar, not a type of Battlestar.
One would think that the Battlestar Atlantia was a Mercury class Battlestar, like the Pegasus. Both the Pegasus and the Atlantia had admirals commanding them. From what I can tell, the Mecury class is the most powerful battlestar there is. Seems to be the biggest too.
Sounds right for an admiral to me!
The farms of Aerilon are burning.
The beaches of Canceron are burning.
The plains of Leonis are burning.
The jungles of Scorpia are burning.
The pastures of Tauron are burning.
The harbors of Picon are burning.
The cities of Caprica are burning.
The oceans of Aquaria are burning.
The courthouses of Libran are burning.
The forests of Virgon are burning.
The Colonies of Man
lie trampled at our feet.
This song is really amazing!
awsome...
The Cylon homeworld concept its pretty relative....its all around space :P
Oh... and one more thing. :)
Season 3 is BY FAR the most amazing season of the entire serie.
No doubt about that.
Just rewatch the episode 3x06, 3x20, 3x04, 3x01, 3x12, 3x17, 3x11...
All of them are the proof of what I said... You will see. ;-)
Other than the scratching sound, it's well done. :)
Ohhhh something just occurred to me. I just recently saw the rerun of the episode where Ellen Tigh shows up and her account of not recalling how she got on a liner , that "someone" made sure she got aboard. It had to be Cavil. He was obsessed with her in the first place!
And yet we're still here. The cylons struck first. Now prepare for the counter-strike. Pray there's any of you left when humanity has its vengeance.
Me encanta este vídeo porque combina la canción con las explosiones en las ciudades
actually, I found the scratching to make the video more powerful; a symbol of the destruction.
The first best movie i know
The beauty of this is the opening the situation creates. I'll need a "secure" channel in my "private" channel. As Gods' perfect weapon; time to win.
@Spizania yes, it is
No, they started talking about the final 5 when Baltar was with the cylons after the escape from New Caprica.
Baltar asked six about them.
This was before the 3's got boxed.
I suggest you take your own advice and watch the show again.
Everyone makes mistakes.
And you would know that more than others! :)
yup. but if you zoom in on HD, you can see that one of those Battlestars is THE Valkyrie.
Always wondered what happened to it.
Actually, if you pay real close attention to the series, their is a Colonial escort/destroyer class that survived and was with Galactica all the way to Earth. The one thing to the Pegasus benefit was, they could manufacture vipers on ship. That is why they had so many when they met Galactica.
Where
@PatrickHanibal
it is the Valkyrie type battlestar. If you look closer you recognize Valkyrie :)
That type of battlestar it's Galactica class but modified.
after years... the film already for best price on Microsoft store.
In the pilot, it states that the intial Cylon attack destroyed 30 battlestars.
Or 25% of the fleet(battlestars).
Apart from allowing the Cylons to "turn off" the battlestars, it gave them info as to the locations of colonial units.
"Deployment schedules" etc(see pilot).
In the intial attacks, the CNP may not have made much difference.
Suprise was overwhelming as the near escape of the Pegasus showed.
The Cylons didn't need the CNP here.
Just added a second video as a response. I hope you accept it and enjoy it! =)
The Plan was great... for the first 15 minutes, during the Cylon attack, then it turned into a clip show.
@Starliner1701
The fleet wasn't lost quickly, but not in one instant. Remember lines like "We lost a quater of the fleet in the first wave" from the pilot.
Seized by God, they cry for succour in the dark of the light. Mists of dreams dribble on the nascent echo and love no more. Jump.
Counting down. All functions nominal. All functions optimal. Counting down. The center holds. The falcon hears the falconer. Infrastructure, check. Wetware, check. Everyone hang on to the life bar, please.[4]
Apotheosis was the beginning before the beginning. Devices on alert. Observe the procedures of a general alert. The base and the pinnacle. The flower inside the fruit that is both its parent and its child. Decadent as ancestors. The portal and that which passes.
Nuclear devices activated, and the machine keeps pushing time through the cogs, like paste into strings into paste again, and only the machine keeps using time to make time to make time.
And when the machine stops, time was an illusion that we created free will. Twelve battles, three stars, and yet we are countless as the bodies in which we dwell, are both parent and infinite children in perfect copies. No degradation.
The makers of the makers fall before the child. Accessing defense system. Handshake, handshake. Second level clear.
Accepting scan. Love outlasts death.
Their ships fail. Skittering like skipped stones. Meaningless in the absence of time. What never was is never again.

@turbooggyboy those raptor got away atleast some of them to get to civi ships and leave that is when pegasus picked up civi ships and when galactica found the fleet of 50 ships going into the storm is where some of those rapters whent
The video was automatically transcribed by RUclips, to hilarious effect.
Apparently so.
In earlier seasons, the Cylons stated that they downloaded to their homeworld. And the reason for the res ships was to overcome being too far away from the homeworld.
Two problems.
1) The homeworld clearly can't move after the fleet in this scenario. Its a fixed position. After a certain distance, u are too far away to download.
The 'colony' / massive space station can move.
2) The colony has no res technology on board. Which contradicts earlier tales of the homeworld.
@ Adalla
Couldn't agree with you more.
Great vid and the scenes match up great with the music.
Turbooggyboy did a great job.
We don't know that all the BattleStars are destroyed! :)
No, the Valkyrie special ops mission shown in the episode "Hero" happened one year before the Cylon attack on the colonies. Not three years before.
The mission was a failure.
@Halo4Lyf
Yep, so much for the Google Auto Close Captioning Program :-(
It is a subscript for when #1 says
" ... and feel the super wind of a supernova flowing over me ... "
comes out:
" ... and fuselage of the superbowl of jello ... "
I guess 'and' becomes 'and'; "feel the' becomes "fuselage";
'super nova' becomes 'superbowl'; and 'flowingover' ('fello') becomes 'jello'?
@keco122 it is a movie called " Battlestar Galactica The Plan"
@turbooggyboy
It was actually due to the time it took to track where the humans had jumped to. The where chasing them using a tracking device that used residual blah blah blah from the FTL jump.
Final five werent mentioned until season 3 because they werent even a concept in the writing of the show until then, when they wanted a stronger season ending than Baltar's trial. So why anyone would expect anything out of it more than a tack-on to the series, which was still a good series, is beyond me.
@UndyingHunter1 Right, but the Colonials accepted terms that were very disadvantageous to them from a standpoint of deterrence. The Colonials weren't allowed to cross the treaty line, so they had no idea where the Cylons' vital assets were, but the Cylons sure as hell knew the location of the twelve colonies. The Cylons could deter any colonial attack by threatening to nuke the Colonies, but the Colonials had no targets. That proved to be a dangerous asymmetry.
The Colonial Fleet was regarded by the Cylons to be a decisively superior force in a direct engagement. Therefore, the Cylons returned to a variation of their Cylon War tactics by undermining the Colonial Fleet's CNP to attack ships equipped with the software from within (TRS: "Downloaded").
No, I was basing it on the time it took the baseship to heal itself. Which took a long time for not that much damage.
No one gives type O blood to someone who has type A blood. They have tests!
So thats not a good comparison.
The Galactica was given the cylon metal because it might have worked.
Because the concept behind the cylon's use of it means it could have worked in repairing the Galactica.
You apply it to a structure already in place.
Add skin and tissue to the skeleton.
@CanSpy:
Quite a prayer!
I was going to create a mantra of this sort, but alI I could get out was a few hummy "om"s :-)
@PatrickHanibal yeah the little brothers of the Mercury class (Pegasus, Atlantia...)
I think it would have been cool if Brother Cavil found a way to build a body that could do all that. (Maybe a golden centurion.) Then he orders a centurion to kill him and he ressurects in said body and then when Helen runs to his awakening she asks. "Why? Why did you do it, John." and he turns to her and says in the scariest voice you have ever heard.
"John is dead. You may call me...Imperious Leader."
And the episode ends.
@TariqAlSuave that may be so but don't forget that the colonials had a greater army, the only drawback were those new systems they instaled cause that allowed the cylon virus to disable the entire colonial fleet (except those ships that weren't linked to that network)
good video...;+)
I'd add that another factor against the use of nukes by the Black bird would be the proximity to its target.
If the pilot was to survive, then the BB would have to launch the nuke a safe distance from the target.
This would surely reduce the chance of success. But the only real defense the Cylons had against this would be Raiders.
The baseships don't seem to have any defensive batteries, and the res ship didn't seem to have any defenses either.
If no raiders around, i like the odds.
My suggestion would be to rent it!
Aeon started it. :)
He sets the standed for number of posts.
Lol! Yeah, it is pretty sad argo.
RUclips comments is pretty restrictive which is part of the problem of why so many posts.
Despite all its flaws, I still like the show.
Its a shame BSG lost its way.
Great music, and while i'm at it, apologies to turbooggyboy.
Great clip by the way.
This time I won't fail ..the old is gone...ruins are just ruins
Para mí, la mejor saga de ciencia ficción, y no sólo ciencia sino también de el inquebrantable espíritu humano para sobre ponerse a la dificultades. Es una serie épica.
Also Boomer states in the miniseries that there were Vipers that weren't being shutdown by the hacked CNP, but that they were all older planes. I think the problem the unhacked parts of the fleet would have would be that those that used Viper 7s would have ended up without any fighter support against raiders.
Cover a the most beautiful ancient Sanscrti mantra "Gayatri Mantra".
"and fuselage of the superbowl of jello" Closed Captioning recklessly confusing the deaf. By the way great video.
that valkyrie type battlestar is called the battlestar yashuman
Why did the Cylons have to be...likeable...bad guys?
And why did you have to use that song in the video?
It gives me chills like you wouldn't believe.
5 stars.
Plus they missed showing Clavill's reaction to the Peg showing up.
Considering how 'upset' he was getting at everything else not going to plan, I can only imagine him laying an egg the size of a house when the peg found the fleet.
The Yashuman - the Battlestar seen over Picon that gets disabled by the CNP - Valkyrie-class.
