Im excited over this build.
Those bolts should be studs also. The nuts just stayed on and the stud came with it. Thats how mine was. I got some vice grips and held it in the center and too the nuts off and re inserted the studs.

You may be able to get a carbide burr set to remove the small amount of metal that you need removed on the headers. That way your not making the entire hole bigger. Just a thought! Hope all is well bro!

Headers fit pretty good to be less than $200. You stay warm, we'll deal with the background noise, lol.
