I would accept dinner invitations, go to team buildings, etc. I've gone through two promotions this past year alone, and I managed to gain some valuable friends and colleagues. Best decision of my life so far.

It was mentioned multiple times that Onee is an attractive woman, Icchi just needs to dress the part, but wants to keep him for herself. It's not as pronounced in the anime but in the manga, Ichikawa's resemblance to Yamadad is more pronounced and deliberate. Drives the point home that Ichikawa is ALSO Yamada's type looks wise, in that he's comfortable and secure to look at. Yamadad being a gamer also means she's not affected by his nerdy tendencies. Anna also sees Kyoutarou as someone very similar to the male love interest in her favorite manga. People dismiss Yamada falling for Ichikawa as unrealistic but given everything Norio has structured, it all makes perfect sense why she falls for the guy.
