I refuse to believe this is your first time hearing this song
Exactly dude!!!
I’m sayin😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 dudes wildin
Well if you watch the video for like 3 minutes, you'd see he recognizes it
If he didn't if he did you clicked .. 😂🎉
“Responsible pimp” has me ROLLING 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Same here😂😂😂
Sent me soon as he said that 😂
Such a good line
LOL His hoes be having a 401K
What does that even mean?
I haven’t heard this in years and it still slaps 😂😂😂
That long pause followed by “…I thought this nigga was black” took me out 💀 Shaq you never fail to crack me up! 😂💯
The amount of times this was nationally played on every radio station made it virtually impossible to not hear this song 😂.
Man i live in Seattle this was everywhere 😂😂
internationally. Whole europe bopped to this song, you wouldn't escape it even on vacation.
@@robertfry-harris7621 ma Macklemore is from there 😂
Impossible
Nah fr
The thing I love about this song is that while it’s silly, the message is that you can look fresh as fuck without spending ridiculous money on designer shit. Be yourself and don’t be ashamed of rocking it your way.
You ever hear lil dicky- "save that money"?
@@tonyb460 it’s a good song I heard it before it got fetty wap on it
that's right!!!
That is 100 percent the message, don’t need to pay a lot of money just because of a brand, as long as you can style and match any clothes you’ll be good.
@@korxvert8103 that is like an artist right?
Fun fact- the bald guy at the end that sings the hook, his name is Juans. Macklemore held auditions in Seattle for this specific part of the song. Juans got he gig, he’s been on the local Seattle music scene for a minute. He got a writing credit on the song, toured with Macklemore, and got a Grammy.
That is honestly the best fact I have ever heard
@@tbawws3975 its lies ALL LIES!!!!
Names "Wans" Seattle Sir-mix-a-lot, Kid Sensation Feature him in their songs.
That song single-handedly made me appreciate the beauty of thrift shopping. I still like to pop in from time to time in the rich neighborhood thrift stores and see if anything interesting or expensive was donated.
Can’t Hold Us is a certified banger too bro🤙
also macklmore - kevin
Facts!!
Love that and wings too
Most slept on is definitely "Otherwise"
please react bro!
Back when music was fun and vibes.
Yup😊
Oh God, there’s already nostalgia comments on things just 10 years old? Music is still like this. Don’t be dense.
now its all yeat n shit
This song is goofy
@@BluEx22329 In a good way
Hind’s Hall deserves a reaction
Yeah #freepalestine
My niece was 17 when this song came out. She would call and say, "Auntie, time to pop some tags" . Then it was like, Goodwill watch out..we on the way. LoL. Oh the memories came rushing back. ❤❤
Maybe I’m just a cheesy dude, but one of my all time favorite songs !!!!! I was humming it this morning 😂😂😂 Shaq’s smile when he realizes what it is, = Priceless
nah its just one of them happy ass fun songs😂 not everything need to be serious theres room for shit like this that just make you smile on a bad day💯
How is this song already 11 years old?!?! I can’t believe Shaq hasn’t heard this, it was everywhere when it came out. I bet as soon as he hears the beginning he’ll recognize it. Even years later it can still make me wanna get up and dance 💃 😂 *THIS IS FUCKIN AWESOME * 😂
He says in the first three minutes that hes heard it before lmao
That is insane. I was thinking 6 or 7 years ago... Life sucks 😂
You guys need to watch something before commenting
@@kennethjones7129 Leaving negative comments and not even watching the video is a different type of dick suck.
Crazy that is. I was thinking maybe 5 years or so. Makes me feel old.
My advice is for you to listen to more of his music, he has such a history of fighting addiction, his songs about it are truly deep. I think that he is one of the most underrated rappers out there
I LOVE this reaction. Truly it’s been a long time since I watched the channel, but this really had me smiling.
I used to work at goodwill for two years when then song came out. And everyone thought popping tags was switching the price tags and stealing. And I constantly kept telling people they are wrong. Popping tags is the sound it makes when you pop the tag off after you buy the jacket
That's hilarious bruh
I admit... i thought the same at first lol
Stealing from Goodwill is craaaaaaaazy
thats what my mom told me it meant 💀💀
Remember when Macklemore won more Grammys than Kendrick in one day? 😂😂😂😂
who cares... its a fucking grammy.. And macklemore was also selling way more than anyone at the moment which is usually what grammys are about; best marketing strategy.
Everyone talks about kendrick but he also beat Drake Kanye and Jay 😂😂😂
Well when you do pop (popular) music youll always get the shine more than other categories from what ive seen.
Macklemore is great. His new album is fire
@Yulds2x dude you have no shame and your main channel has 25k and you still doing this 💀
Responsible Pimp!!🤣😂🤣😂
i luv shopping at the thrift store! you can meet a lot of nice people there!!
That's dope that you were honest and said you heard it before. The humor came from you knowing the song, but never seen Macklemore or listened to the lyrics that much lol. I've seen some of these reactors out here lying.
The look on your face is of someone that has rediscovered a song that they haven't heard in forever and a day 😂. It's always fun to hear an old forgotten song
This song isn’t forgotten though
"A responsible pimp" 😂😂😂😂
so you got 44k likes ... what's Grandad's in your wardrobe. hahah love this tune
This was a banger when it dropped 👌🏻
Still a banger
I used to work at goodwill for two years when then song came out. And everyone thought popping tags was switching the price tags and stealing. And I constantly kept telling people they are wrong. Popping tags is the song makes when you pop the tag off after you buy the jacket
Yeah it was impossible to miss this song back in like 2013. Wings and My Oh My are two of my more favourite songs from him tbh. Huge nostalgia whenever I hear those
Wings was a good joint. Very solid album overall fr
Never hear s of those but Shaq def heard this. This whole half the planet heard this
Wings was my favourite
Brother I have to tell you. Whenever I've had a challenging day I always come to your page and watch your reactions. Your energy, your positive attitude, and the way you keep it real fills me up. Thank you for being you.
"Looks like a responsible pimp" - thanks. That laugh just woke the baby..
We gotta see you react to Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. That’s another hit from this dude and it’s just as good
That would be brilliant.
One of my favourite songs he does.
And he spits some flow and cadence on that beat like a mother fucker
Yeah that and Wings definitely
@@aidanthomas2510 yeah I was thinking Wings for sure
Glorious. Corner Store. Growing Up. So many bangers.
Shaq, one of my dogs died suddenly last night. He was one of my best friends. I had just played with him the day before. Thank you for brightening my day and helping me through hard times over the years.
Sorry to hear that brother, my condolences
This song gave me best childhood. 2013-2016. Gives me vibes and nostalgia about these times.
I worked at Hot Topic during the height of this song's popularity and it was always hilarious to see the customers stop what they were doing and sing/dance.
During my college radio DJ days, this song was HUGE. It still slaps all these years later.
I was 0% expecting this reaction to happen
I always got my clothes from Salvation Army, I was in 5th grade when this came out and it made that fact kinda cool
3:38 - 'Responsible Pimp' --- lmfao
Macklemore is one of my favorite artists. One ofthe best people i've seen live and will be going to see again.
lol
No way that u never heard this before. Was always played when i was at upper school couldnt escape it
@Yulds2x no
@Yulds2x go away
He’s heard it before
hinds halls reaction here we go!
This song only gets better the more you hear it. Especially watching the music video.
This song has been fire for ages🔥🔥🔥
Being from Seattle I was always a fan of Macklemore. This album definitely changed the direction of his music. Personally, I was a much bigger fan of his earlier stuff. He had a decade of music before this even came out.
Yea his earlier stuff was indeed better.
I always liked Blue Scholars over Macklemore in the early days.
@@eveljkov 💯 Onry Ozzborn is my personal fav out of Seattle.
I'm in Tacoma. I hate this liberal trash state
It was sick when he played "Can't Hold Us" in the playoff game !! Go Hawks
LOL - A responsible pimp.... hilarious... and good description 😂😂😂
All about hunting for those deals and gems
I don't know if anyone had more fun doing music than Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
lol how about LMFAO they were pre fun
Prof is what you’re missing in your life then
Prof is hilarious and has some of the best beats…..
Travis Scott
Macklemore is such an underrated artist! some of his work is really lyrical. I'd suggest reacting to 'Otherside remix' by Macklemore, its one of his best songs, and one of my favorites to this day.
He really made good projects fr.. I was a fan
Dude... I'm from Nigeria and this played everywhere...
This video was filmed in a Value Village thrift store in Capitol Hill, Seattle (Macklemore is a Seattle kid; there's even a shot of him in the video with a Seattle Seahawks t-shirt on).
I used to buy stuff from there all the time, outfitted my kitchen and got clothes and stuff. It was a HUGE thrift shop, with a basement and a second floor. SO much great stuff!
They closed down about a year after the video was released; too bad. That was a great thrift shop.
He’s helped so many people overcome addiction with his music
You’re wack
@wattzzz woooow… you’re *so* *edgy* …
@@xoxolovechristielynn no you
Downtown by Macklemore is another banger man, hopefully we get to see some more reactions to his music
This that Trailer Park anthem fr!! Straight banger
Macklemore definitely took the Le1f 'Wut' beat and ran with it to an insanely popular hit. Shoutout to both artists for the success.
Can't Hold Us by Macklemore is straight heat
My entire college was thrift shop and back in those days The wide bottom Jinco/bell bottom style was hype and I bought a thrift shop sewing machine, learned to sew and made big leg pants with side panel mashups from other thrift shop clothes as a side hustle to pay for books. They were legit pretty fly for the era
"why this guy look like a responsible pimp" lmao dying
“A responsible pimp” 🤣 perfect.
All ready know this is gonna be a banger
This album was full of bangers.. He had no reason to apologize... The Heist was a great album....
I love your reactions you make it so much fun to watch you ..
What did he apologize for??
@@Brecken22 he apologized for beating Kendrick Lamar for best rap album of the year.
@@janetta5153 thank you!
It wasn’t necessary to apologize, but it still never should have won over gkmc. Not even close
@@Runitup--hc3np we are not in disagreement.. Jay -Z had a bomb a** album he was nominated for.. I am not says Macklemore was better I'm just acknowledging that the album wasn't slack...
That R Kelly line always sends me dead 💀
IT WAS 99 CENTS
My youngest son is a bassist and guitarist I don’t know how many of my clothes he wears from my pants to my tops to my jewelry and he looks fantastic 😊
This song will never die
I can’t believe this song is that old already bro wtf. Time FLIES!!
I remember my sisters joined in with the nationwide obsession with thrift shopping when this song came out.
We already past 30k!
Love the energy🔥
You need to listen to "wings" by him. It's about people getting their jordans taken from them and growing up always wanting to be like Jordan. Super sad but a great song
wings is such a good ass song
yep Wings and My Oh My are classics. Wings is the first song I heard from him from FaZe using it and they basically boosted him and Logic's career tbh
Almost 30K dude! Love this video!
Just watched this reaction and I'm going to Instagram to see the picture 😅
Hard to believe that this song is over a decade old now! This was this definition of a sleeper hit
Sleeper hit? It got 1.7B views on RUclips.
What about this makes it a sleeper? The fact that it’s Diamond in the us? Or the millions of other sales in other countries, or the two grammys, or that it was number one on billboard?
@@user-so4jf7mi1x what I meant was, in an era where songs instantly become popular, this was released in August 2012 and took half a year to reach to top the billboard hot 100 (and five months to reach the top 10) I was saying that this wasn’t immediately popular when it was first released. It took some time 😊 You could say the same thing about Can’t Hold us, which was originally released in 2011 and didn’t become reach its peak until after May 2013
Nigga stop lying😭
@@christianjohnson2918I knew what you meant when you said sleeper hit. I don’t know why the others didn’t know
The best part is he actually shops at thrift shops. My sister was at the goodwill when he was in town and there he was shopping away. She even got pics with him
Definitely react to more Macklemore. All of his albums are amazing.
"Like a responsible pimp." I stopped breathing I was laughing so hard!!!
This song and Can't Hold Us is his standout tracks imo
Just recently listened to it and added to my playlist that’s crazy 😂😂😂
Bro we the same, me too
This is my first time as well, I didn't know this guy.😂
"Can't Hold Us" was another banger!
Shaq if you ever do any other Macklemore reactions you should listen to Cant Hold Us, Wings, Otherside and Same Love. Even tho he "fell off" and hasnt realeased any "mainstream" songs for almost a decade, I think those 4 are still, till these days, absolute bangers. Dont sleep on them.
He’s literally just released a new album lol. Get listening 😂
he has new bangers out already
@@SmithySafc96 I didn’t say he ain’t releasing new music. I said he fell off, and he ain’t mainstream no more. If you don’t want to admit that, im sorry but you just dumb bro 💀 (and that’s coming from a macklemore fan) Get comprehending my comment.
👌 Good songs all of them 👆 ☺️ hope you will give them a look
Man, this is nostalgic as heck
This was the jam back in the day My G !
My granpa pass away last year, and he was a very stylish Pops. I'm heredate the swag 😎
🤟 I just love watching you! I love your reactions, but you, no matter what, CRACKS ME UP. Thank you! We need more laughs and smiles in this life!!! 😂
You crack me up everytime with your reactions 😅 I love your channel ❤
This was so much fun! Thanks for the laughs!!!
This song is why I like Macklemore.
Macklemore got a couple hits tho. Glorious. Can’t hold Us. Marmalade. You should definitely react to one of those or even all three
I love glorious.. that was a banger for me
Love Glorious... I havn't seen this one mentioned yet, another one off the Gemini album but I LOVE Good Old Days too. Both those songs really take me back but Good Old Days is particularly powerful for me because I find myself feeling the same way as the song describes, looking back at the good old days wishing I hadn't taken them for granted.
Love your videos man
No life Shaq I'm from Seattle this video was filmed at 3 different thrift stores and I've shopped at all of them. It makes it that much better to me. The shot at the start with the DeLorean is at the jimmy Hendrix school.
Can't wait to see you picture
Mannnnnn...memories...I remeber when this song came out, but on a serious level this is my 1st time seeing the music video to this...glad you could make it that much more entertaining, also contributing my like to see you wear your grandaddy's clothes 😂🤣
What? First time?? Lol. I can’t wait to see reaction. I love your channel man. Me and my ole man always watch you. You got us laughing until our stomachs hurt. Keep it up man you’re so successful!! Awesome to keep watching you grow
@Yulds2x Stop it dude. You're literally doing this everywhere
@@Stallzyx because it's a bot
I grew up on this song. for me, it was the song little kids aren’t supposed to know but learn like 90% of the lyrics anyway by the time they’re seven. I remember being in around second grade and like half the class knew the words to this song.
Thirty thirty-five thousand and going on
It comes full circle cause we love watching you experiencing something we’ve loved for a while, for your first time. Keep on rocking my brother
Shaq ma Man U a legend keep up this good work man💪
The amount of times I’ve heard this song playing while walking through my local Walmart is hilarious
Gemini is so damn fire and slept on its insane.
FIRST TIME!? HOW?? 😂
It wasn’t he just didn’t know this us who sung it so he thought it was another song he hasnt heard it before
I checked your IG and didn't see your picture in your granddaddy clothes. Still I'll hit that like.
"Responsible pimp" 😂
The parody 'Pot shop' is fucking awesome.
