Lots of memories with the CanAm cars back in the day. I saw most all those cars run in the late 60's and early 70's at Laguna Seca and also at Sears. Got to meet Denny Hulme and Peter Revson at one of the races at Laguna. Back in those days there was no Andretti hair pin, these cars would come out of turn 9 (which is now turn 11) and pedal down all the way up the hill to the Cork Screw. Thank you so much!! I'm old enough to remember the chute at Laguna Seca that went from turn 1 to turn 4. It was a proper section of the circuit back then. I was at the Coca Cola Summer Sprints in 1982 and I saw a big accident right after turn 1.
