Applying the 7-loop charge to other wave cannon types sounds fun, but if they don't make it so it has the same insta-kill property that you get for fully charging the Giga Wave Cannon, then it isn't really a good kit for the ultimate fighters. Both the Photon Belt and Shock can benefit from better damage increases for each loop, since it'd be redundant to have an additional two cannons that have insta-kill properties. But yeah, this craft is all bark, no bite. Ship looks like an AWP with thrusters, and the laser doesn't even cover half the screen. Shame that they didn't go overkill on its power.
I will agree with you 100%. For a GIGANTIC FACK OFF CANNON that puts the Concertmaster's to shame, it should have done even more damage. Same with the Shock-type. It's a shame, because I REALLY like the look of this ship outright.
Agreed 110%, if you check the Discord, someone attempted to kill Evolved's Stage 1 boss with this fighter's fully charged wave cannon, to no avail, I tried it on R-Typer 3 and got the same results, Fighter Form fully charged Wave Cannon tickled the boss. This ship, for as hyped as it is, is essentially redundant and serves no purpose other than just looking cool, which is a shame, this could've been a fantastic ship, ironic that the Patroclus is infinitely more useful than this. One thing I will experiment with, is the Fighter Mode's Wave Cannon duration at max when compared to the Concertmaster's WC. I have a feeling they're the same duration and I swear if they're the same damage, I'm gonna kek as that means Hector is an oversized Concertmaster with imo unfinished transformation animations.
Hector never was the "powerhouse" since its debut on Tactics 2 - though useful on its own, it had mediocre damage output. BUT they shouldn't do the same on its STG counterpart :(
Should've been given the Hyper Wave Cannon and the Lightning Wave cannon instead. And reduce the loop charge. Also should've been given a better Force Unit.
