Thanks bro. Appreciate you as always
Nice setup.
Thanks appreciate you taking the time to watch.
@@Audiolympian no problem I am subscribed to your channel.
@@percybedford6266 thank you. Appreciate your support
Damm you have an incredible setup, the rear heights I would place them diagonally towards to your seats, you will feel much better the effects, how is the performance of the super x as a back subwoofer?? I am plannig to get another XXL for placing it behind my seat. I recommend you to test your atmos with the batman “car chase scene” , congratulations for your perfect setup I wish I had an emotiva powe
Thanks man. Appreciate you watching. The video clips I had done for this video was a while ago. I have my rear heights angled towards the seats now. Have the sub x in the back and moving my xxl to the front was an amazing change. I was hesitant at first I thought it wasn’t going to blend well but it smoothed my bass out even better. I would still like two xxl’s but it’s very good for now. Appreciate you commenting! Keep up your good work too.
Wow! Impressive! I'm still trying to grow from my 5.2, hopefully will be adding heights this summer. I'm also running Anthem and Golden Ear.
Thanks. Nice set up you got. GE and Anthem go together like pb&j. This build took about 7 years to accumulate everything. Thanks for watching
@@Audiolympian you definitely have a killer setup!
@@dmo5962 thanks. Yeah, it’s not too shabby. Overall once I got my room prepared better (still more to do) the sound has been unbelievable. It really brought out the potential of the gear.
When is RUclips going to be able to decode 'all' content in 5.1 🤔
I just done sound comparison between what you were showing us and the original Dolby Atmos trailer and your display was still only coming up as 2-ch, but the original trailer was coming up with 5.1 audio. It's not fair! Would've been delighted to hear your speakers working independently!
(Time will tell!)
Lovely set up by the way 👍
I know what you mean. I’m sure if RUclips ever does upgrade full content sound we’d all have to pay for it. I looked into it a little further and the best they have is 5.1 for some movies and shows on the paid version of RUclips. We can all hope some day. Thanks for watching!
Hey, nice setup! Do the Supersat 50s sound much more versus the Supersat 3? Dunno why the price is so much more for the 50s just for two passive radiators, do you think its worth the extra money? I would like to use them as height channels and surround sides. Thanks!
Thanks for the question. Yes the 50’s have much more range and depth. They didn’t used to be so much more. They’ve had a couple prince increases but imo still with the upgrade
Thanks for watching
@@Audiolympian and thanks for the info and reply!
@@exovitae my pleasure
Golden sound. Listen only golden ear. High end sound like.
Nice. Thanks for watching
Ok. Just wondering. Aren’t the power hungry side of your Tritons already self powered?
Oh yeah, more so the bass section having more subs helps smooth out the bass in a room. As long as they’re calibrated correct. Thanks for watching
HOW BIG WAS THE SCREEN?
It’s 120 inch. Thanks for watching
Why would you put your Wides up high? Thats where your Atmos/Auro/DTSX speakers go
You’re are right. The actual places they are supposed to be in are next to the fronts. Because I don’t have the space and the speakers I was using are so much smaller they were drowned out so I placed them up and it works for my set up. Thanks for watching
@@Audiolympian we all work with the limitation our rooms give us
@@FURognar yes we do.
Hello, back again with a question. Aren't hard to drive those SuperSat speakers? I seen that the impedance of them are 4 Oms, i know your amps have a lot of power but im asking if this speakers are okay to drive just with an AVR, lets say the Denon X2600H.
They are nominal 4 ohm speakers but their sensitivity is 92db which is fairly high so that makes them easy to push. 4 ohms allows them to be able to handle a lot of power. So yes they do sound great with just a receiver. Thanks for the question and stopping by the channel again
@@Audiolympian i see, thanks for the info!
@@Audiolympian another thing i have forgotten to ask you it's that if this SuperSat speakers are very directional or not, i hear ribbon tweeters are directional. Unfortunately i can't listen to them before buying, no audio showrooms in my city! When i upgrade my receiver i would love to upgrade my height channels too and i was thinking about the Supersat 3 or the 50s.
@@AexoeroV good question they are directional but not like you would think. They have amazing dispersion. The 3’s a little less than the 50’s. But as long as you not way off to the sides of them you’ll still get very good immersion.
@@Audiolympian now as height channels i have some speakers with threads mounted on swivel brackets like the ones sold by Goldenear so if i buy the SuperSat 3 i can mount them and tilt/pan/rotate them exactly to point my main listening position but from what i see the 50s need to be mounted on two threads so that will need to have a more fixed position if that makes sense.
