Yes he has extremely potent powers, but he's weak as hell on his own without the overwrite button. The hell are those spikey hands gonna do? They only do lethal damage when they directly hit the soul, basically a bullseye, which other projectiles can do as well. It's just a projectile. He always had trouble in 1v1's. He's tall, has good reflexes, and fast. But he's as physically weak as Classic sans, unlike cross who can actually throw a punch and use swords. The only reason Classic Sans can even hold his own in battle is because of his overpowered telekinesis, which isn't even confirmed to work outside the soul in canon, His large, versatile, extremely destructive Gaster blasters(its's weird that XGASTER can't use GASTER blasters) And his teleportation, which he all heavily relies on. XGaster has none of that luxury. Which is why he always gets his shit kicked in. If not for the button, or his creations that protected him whenever he was in a fight, he would be long dead. Most characters would give him trouble.

There's also the fight against X!Mettaton where he got his arm ripped off. I have a sneaking suspicion that he prevented X!Chara / X!Firsk from growing up because he might have envisioned them bashing his skull open with their fists at some point when they become an adult.

This is hilarious. I laughed when Asriel punched and destroyed XGaster's face. XGaster though, Betty would realistically be no match because XGaster is a god, and has the power to create, destroy, and alter timelines. Betty, while she has this cool stuff and all, I like Betty as a character, but Betty wouldn't stand a chance against XGaster. XGaster could theoretically just delete her. The Player was Chara, until Frisk glitched Chara’s trance. XGaster makes the same mistake in UnderVerse too. Classic managed to kill Chara at a time where the Player wouldn’t have control, which glitched the Player out of control when Chara resetted.

I decided to watch this after the season finale. So here’s a list of the characters involved from weakest to strongest. XAlphys (League 1) GlitchTale Asriel (League 6) Betty (League 6) HATE (League 8) XMuffet (League 9) XPapyrus (League 9) XChara (League 9) Controlled XFrisk (League 9) XUndyne (League 9) XMettaton (League 9) XToriel (League 9) XAsgore (League 9) XAsriel (League 9) Cross (League 10) XGaster (League 20, strongest in the relevant multiverse) XAlphys and XFrisk are the only XTale characters non-XForce. She’s not a fighter. All she might have is lightning, like normal Alphys (League 1). While GlitchTale Asriel can become a god (League 13), he can’t while he is controlled by Fear. Betty is like a human, but with a kaiju and strange magic. Lost to GlitchTale Gaster (League 6) though, so she’s not too impressive, since GlitchTale Gaster isn’t much stronger than normal Gaster (League 6). She is code-less though, so she can’t be Overwritten, unless one of the hands get to her to do it manuallly. HATE is demonic. While none of the GlitchTale characters could actually defeat it, a god did. It mimics Season 1. HATE can use all 9 trait gimmicks. The XTale monsters are the strongest normal monsters in the multiverse. XMuffet is the most recent XForce member if we X-clude Cross, so she must be the weakest. She does have 2 pets though, one of them being Muffet. Also a whip. XPapyrus is the average XForce. Usually Papyrus is one of the strongest in his universe, but here he’s not. He has a scythe. XChara has powerful DT, which allows him to have a rim soul, which means he might refuse death. But a student can’t be stronger than his teacher. While XFrisk is in League 5 for having pathetic DT and not XForce, when he’s controlled, he’s stronger than XChara. The XHumans are code-less. XUndyne is the teacher, not much to say. XMettaton is considered the general, so I think he’s stronger. Saber cuts through anything. Then there’s the Dreemurrs. XAsriel has his own Omega Flowey within his arsenal. Cross defeated XAsriel, XAsgore, XToriel, XMuffet, XUndyne, X-Event!Frisk (League 10), XMettaton, kind of XPapyrus, and finished XGaster at the same time. He’s the best physical fighter in the multiverse. XGaster is omnipotent (not metapotent) with Overwrite. Even if he can’t use it on somebody, he can still use it to give himself anything. Heck, he turned Muffet into a pet. He has op Hand Spikes. These can kill anything in the multiverse. If they reach code, they can erase it. Otherwise, it drains hp, magic, and traits very quickly. They also aren’t linked to Overwrite. XGaster has virtual legs, meaning they can only be hit by magic, like he’s Fatal_Error (League 17) or Error 404 (League 19). He is self-taught XForce, as we see that when he controls XFrisk, he becomes skilled. He is code-less. Lastly, he has artificial DT. The only other person to successfully do that is Graphite (League 18), and as the smarter of the two, he has Reset Priority over everyone in the multiverse aside from Color’s (League 15) Hand blaster. Artificial DT prevents him from melting. So in summary, Betty stands no chance. Also, I agree with XGaster on his analysis of GlitchTale not being interesting lol.
This is going to be completely irrevelent to Betty vs XGaster, but is Error!404 league 19 without his transformations, or with his transformations? Just asking.
@@hongzhong449 Technically yes and no. J404 doesn’t add anything significant, Error666 has better stats, but stats don’t matter at this strength. The Butterfly is technically the strongest thing, only to be killed by the Fresh Parasite, CELLs, and Hand Spikes, though that’s unlikely. However, it can be prevented, if not killed. Omni’s water ability takes away the use of the Anti-Void, and XGaster can just Overwrite the Anti-Void, and Fresh can control 404. Abyss and Eve can’t stop the Butterfly, but they’re still generally stronger due to being rivals of XGaster. So his ranking does include his forms.
Because error doesnt rely on anything like overwrite or reset and only on his own magic power to be at his strength level rn, he would absolutely clap betty even if he didnt try.

@someone that exists Yep. Characters in Glitchtale aren't as powerful as you might think. Even many of the Classic versions of the characters scale above their Glitchtale counterparts... and yes I have seen the season 2 finale.

Technically Gaster does as well however it's only due to his name being able to crash the game. Arguments can be made for Sans and "potentially" Undyne as well. Going by what HATE, Chara, and Asriel shown to be capable of... not sure how much stronger they are in comparison to Betty (who peaked at City level) but most likely not enough to compare to characters like Cross.

Frisk stayed the same (aside from being able to use Reset), but now they can use magic more effectively. Gaster is weaker than GlitchTale Gaster. The only thing missing from GlitchTale Gaster is being able to use the darkness of the void as a weapon. Sans is classified as a false god-like being in GlitchTale. He’s powerful, but it’s only temporary since he can’t sustain the soul. Undyne is definitely stronger. Aside from Hate!Chara and HATE, she’s the strongest new addition as Undyne the True Hero. GlitchTale Chara and Asriel aren’t stronger than Betty. But HATE and Asriel Dreemurr (aka God Asriel) are. And XTale is on a whole other level.

Physicly X-gaster would win cuz if normal gaster can blast betty to death with the help of sans and paps then betty would die ez against X-gaster and his whole X-squad + the fact that X-gaster can one hit kill charaters with dodge like fell sans and blueberry sans (R.I.P) so X-gaster is op and betty is really underleveled for that fight AGAINST A CREATOR OF UNIVERSE.

XGaster (League 20, strongest in the relevant multiverse)
XAlphys and XFrisk are the only XTale characters non-XForce. She’s not a fighter. All she might have is lightning, like normal Alphys (League 1). While GlitchTale Asriel can become a god (League 13), he can’t while he is controlled by Fear. Betty is like a human, but with a kaiju and strange magic. Lost to GlitchTale Gaster (League 6) though, so she’s not too impressive, since GlitchTale Gaster isn’t much stronger than normal Gaster (League 6). She is code-less though, so she can’t be Overwritten, unless one of the hands get to her to do it manuallly. HATE is demonic. While none of the GlitchTale characters could actually defeat it, a god did. It mimics Season 1. HATE can use all 9 trait gimmicks. The XTale monsters are the strongest normal monsters in the multiverse. XMuffet is the most recent XForce member if we X-clude Cross, so she must be the weakest. She does have 2 pets though, one of them being Muffet. Also a whip. XPapyrus is the average XForce. Usually Papyrus is one of the strongest in his universe, but here he’s not. He has a scythe. XChara has powerful DT, which allows him to have a rim soul, which means he might refuse death. But a student can’t be stronger than his teacher. While XFrisk is in League 5 for having pathetic DT and not XForce, when he’s controlled, he’s stronger than XChara. The XHumans are code-less. XUndyne is the teacher, not much to say. XMettaton is considered the general, so I think he’s stronger. Saber cuts through anything. Then there’s the Dreemurrs. XAsriel has his own Omega Flowey within his arsenal. Cross defeated XAsriel, XAsgore, XToriel, XMuffet, XUndyne, X-Event!Frisk (League 10), XMettaton, kind of XPapyrus, and finished XGaster at the same time. He’s the best physical fighter in the multiverse. XGaster is omnipotent (not metapotent) with Overwrite. Even if he can’t use it on somebody, he can still use it to give himself anything. Heck, he turned Muffet into a pet. He has op Hand Spikes. These can kill anything in the multiverse. If they reach code, they can erase it. Otherwise, it drains hp, magic, and traits very quickly. They also aren’t linked to Overwrite. XGaster has virtual legs, meaning they can only be hit by magic, like he’s Fatal_Error (League 17) or Error 404 (League 19). He is self-taught XForce, as we see that when he controls XFrisk, he becomes skilled. He is code-less. Lastly, he has artificial DT. The only other person to successfully do that is Graphite (League 18), and as the smarter of the two, he has Reset Priority over everyone in the multiverse aside from Color’s (League 15) Hand blaster. Artificial DT prevents him from melting.
So in summary, Betty stands no chance. Also, I agree with XGaster on his analysis of GlitchTale not being interesting lol.

@@hongzhong449 Technically yes and no. J404 doesn’t add anything significant, Error666 has better stats, but stats don’t matter at this strength. The Butterfly is technically the strongest thing, only to be killed by the Fresh Parasite, CELLs, and Hand Spikes, though that’s unlikely. However, it can be prevented, if not killed. Omni’s water ability takes away the use of the Anti-Void, and XGaster can just Overwrite the Anti-Void, and Fresh can control 404. Abyss and Eve can’t stop the Butterfly, but they’re still generally stronger due to being rivals of XGaster. So his ranking does include his forms.

But you probably right. A creator inside of the creation is probably much stronger than a creator behind a screen outside of that multiuniverse. One reason why I like Xtale and Underverse.

Even many of the Classic versions of the characters scale above their Glitchtale counterparts... and yes I have seen the season 2 finale.

@@Sean-qg3gg Actually... classic Frisk, Chara, Flowey, Asriel can scale above their Glitchtale counterparts. Technically Gaster does as well however it's only due to his name being able to crash the game. Arguments can be made for Sans and "potentially" Undyne as well.
Going by what HATE, Chara, and Asriel shown to be capable of... not sure how much stronger they are in comparison to Betty (who peaked at City level) but most likely not enough to compare to characters like Cross.
@@TheFirstDragonbornMiraak Normal Asriel should be stronger than Undyne the Undying, but weaker than Gaster. So GlitchTale Asriel is stronger. Frisk stayed the same (aside from being able to use Reset), but now they can use magic more effectively. Gaster is weaker than GlitchTale Gaster. The only thing missing from GlitchTale Gaster is being able to use the darkness of the void as a weapon. Sans is classified as a false god-like being in GlitchTale. He’s powerful, but it’s only temporary since he can’t sustain the soul. Undyne is definitely stronger. Aside from Hate!Chara and HATE, she’s the strongest new addition as Undyne the True Hero. GlitchTale Chara and Asriel aren’t stronger than Betty. But HATE and Asriel Dreemurr (aka God Asriel) are.
And XTale is on a whole other level.

Physicly X-gaster would win cuz if normal gaster can blast betty to death with the help of sans and paps then betty would die ez against X-gaster and his whole X-squad + the fact that X-gaster can one hit kill charaters with dodge like fell sans and blueberry sans (R.I.P) so X-gaster is op and betty is really underleveled for that fight AGAINST A CREATOR OF UNIVERSE.
