The subject of addiction is something that i've been wanting to talk about for a while in a video, but i never found the proper way to do it, without glorifying it.
I know it's not an easy subject for youtube, and i'm not even sure this video will be able to get released because of the content of the subject, but i felt like it was important to show the damage of addiction.
I myself have been able to see with my own eyes what drugs and alcohol does to people, but it's something that feels very personal to me. So i hope, the video will at least be interesting to look at.
Also, a little shoutout to Jessislegend from who i discovered this music in his edit : • I'll Keep My Lanterns ...
Anyway, have a good day and i hope you can enjoy!

Addiction is so misunderstood, I think you did a good job of showing that here. People are vilified for dealing with pain, and having their brain change to the extent where they lose control in moments where they aren't present. But it's definitely complex, and it takes a shit ton of continuous personal work and growth to become sober. To even think about sobriety one first need to be able to abstain for a long enough time, so they can distinguish their own thoughts from the manipulative thoughts the addictive brain plays to get them to relapse. Not only this but certain beliefs and ideas that fuel the addiction and were at the root when it began.
As a person who dealt with addiction I find this video very relatable to me and I love Jesse and I love what he did here to make his video mean something more than just another incredible edit from him. Thank you for your work here.
methadone xanax abd weeed save my life i am a former heroinn addict.and i quit with methadone xanax and a some weed
Beautiful editing.
I’m Kat and I’m an addict. Always will be. Just put the word recovering in front of it.
My sobriety date is August 12th, 2020. I will be 2 years sober soon.
We don't know each other but i'm proud of you!
@@JesseJr19 Thank you so much! I appreciate that and you. Your edits always make me appreciate life but also I cry while watching them lol
huh. you should be proud of yourself.
I never counted days I hadn't indulged in my habit. because no matter how much time would pass I knew I'd be back.
I could go very long without it, if I just knew that I still have it somewhere.
because if I didn't and had no way of getting it, I'd have killed myself.
@@hel2727 Thank you! I am proud. The problem is, I don’t know how proud I should be of myself. What honestly made me get sober was when I overdosed purposely a few days before the 12th of August. My dad was the one who took me to the hospital while I was dosing off. I never want to put my family through that again and I never want to hurt myself again. I’m only 21yrs old.
I’m sorry about what your going through. Are you sober now? I’m asking because of the way you worded your sentences.
I can honestly say I relate though. I needed to at least know I had a fix or money to get whatever drug or alcohol I needed. I have to say that withdraw was hell. I don’t ever want anyone to go through addiction but unfortunately it’s going to happen no matter what. I go to AA and NA meetings. I’ve seen people come and go, sometimes they never come back and it breaks my heart as I get to know them.
I hope you’re doing okay. Sending hope and luck your way!
Wow this is amazing, I can’t imagine how hard that must be fighting it everyday, you’re much stronger than your addiction and I’m wishing you the best✨✨
This video gave me chills. Phenomenal. And thank you for talking about such an important subject. Great job as always, my friend.
Thank you so much for your support ❤ It means a lot to me
i am drunk rn listening and watching this multifandom...i was an alcoholic for 3 years and went to rehab at only 17 but here i am drinking once again to forget everything that has happened to me....i lowkey hate myself for all the addiction i created in my life...these multifandoms help because they make me not feel alone in all this darkness that wrapped and stapped around my heart. i am still fighting...
good luck love
I still haven't realized what I just saw, that's another level of editing man!
Probably the greatest edit I ever saw, wow, complete wow. You're so talented brother, and I'm happy to be here to witness this one.
"No one in the world see this as a disease. They see you as selfish, they see you as weak, cruel, they see you as destructive, they think well why should I give a fuck about her, she doesn't give a fuck about herself or anybody else.
Why does this girl deserve my time, my patience, my sympathy, right?
If she wants to kill herself, better"
As an addict, this hits so damn hard.
Let her not better! Sorry for correction
This is easily one of the best multi's I've ever seen, and one of the greatest edits I've had the privilege of witnessing, it's not often we see an edit perfectly demonstrate such a prevalent real life issue. You perfectly captured how addiction is a disease of personality, and how destructive it is, and how the shame silences the sufferer.
Bravo.
After years of living with a person with this disease and see how hard was for him to recover from it and recover his family I understand what this disease means. I’m glad that you make this video and show so well what you can feel about it. Thank you!
Damn, this is so good.... As the son and brother of an addict, this is incredibly potent in how this video captures the simultaneous helplessness and hope, the guilt and justification, the burnt child that loves the fire. Beautifully done.
Did i mention that i watch this about 5 times a day every day? It's just that perfect
I'm not an usual addict, but I'm still someone who is addicted to destroy myself, my live in different ways. This is evoking and just so raw and the feeling.... I love your videos, your art, the way you show the story.
You always know the perfect way to takle even the most hard subjects to talk about. Beautiful work here man
Great job, Jesse. I feel like this video gives strength and hope to the people who have or still are battling addiction.
This is absolutely incredible and moving. Fantastic work, please keep this up!
Powerful stuff. The kind that gets under your skin and into your heart.
This is just amazing jesse!!!!
The black and white , quotes , scenes everything worked together and it was just perfect!!
Great job on this one!!
Powerful as always my brother. Your art is what called me to your channel and will always call me back.
Beautiful Video mate.
Lots of Love and Respect ! 🙏🙏❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this video, a true masterpiece. It was something I didn't know I needed.
As a recovering alcoholic/addict I feel this, this is fantastic and beautiful thank you.
Another stunning multifandom edit. Your multifandom videos by far the best.
Love the videos, keep em coming!
Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scared from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others feel better. Have a nice day. :)
Jesse, phenomenal as always.
Always killing it brother
Wow Jesse! This edit is incredibly beautiful and emotional, as always.
You're playing on a different league here brother
Wonderful work Jesse, it's always great to see a new multifandom edit from u
Beautiful as always ❤
This was powerful! Multi fandom but the way in which she did transitions the grit and the good bad and ugly of addictions was just phenomenal. Addictions tear apart families friends and most importantly the person that is struggling with the very addiction mine is self harm and it’s tearing my family apart I’ve been cutting my self for 20 years now and I’m covered in keloid scars
Great video Jesse, this style of video is really unique to you and you are a master in this art! Very good video Jesse :D
You are VERY good at what you do. Please keep up the incredible work, I love your videos!
I do not know how many nights I waited this chapter two. Thx frero
Another real good video!! Sad but true for so many here’s hoping they can win the battle
Beautiful edit man!
Wow this is Hauntingly Beautiful!!!
Wow real masterpiece mate!
One of my fav video on the internet !
Amazing work ❤ jesse
I'm completely addicted to my daydreaming, it's so fucked up. It takes time, meds act slowly, but they help and when you realise your out.
Addiction has taken over my mother and its becoming alot on me to keep pretending everything is fine
Beautiful video, well done !
This is such an amazing vidéo.
wow man you can really tell you put all your heart and soul into this video, really really emotional and heart warming brother, another masterpiece as always
Jesse just dropped!!! Another banger going on repeat🪬💯🙌🏽

Thank you so much for this….
Beautiful as always also I think a Northman tribute would be amazing
Jack from lost gets me every time, damn this is amazing
great work!!
Love the transition from black and white to colour
Wonderful video ❤
Thank you for the video
Seeing someone crying over suffer-overload is one of the most painful thing to watch.
As a person who was an addict and married a man who was doing drugs. It hurts looking back in our 6 years of hell. Been 1 year sober. Both of us are.
thanks jessie
Underrated masterpieces exist for broken pieces like me....♑🙇
5:34am Central US time: May 11th, 2023 im pledging right now to myself and my best friend and brother in arms, A1, my sobriety on this day…and the days forward…
beautiful
really good, have you seen the basketball diaries?
This is hauntingly beautiful. Only thing I would say: addiction is not a disease, it’s a way to solve a problem when you cannot find any other way.
amazing
Lanterns Lit is my favorite Son Lux song.
Jesse is addicted to make masterpiece edits
It’s not your problem, it’s the way you try to treat it.
This is what i really looking for
I’m watching this as I’m drinking on my way to work
Titane is really a great movie. Can you make a video about it?
Thaks man
One day I will escape it
relatable
Addiction means bad habits that wasting your precious time ,precious life .Addiction not limited about alcohol or smoking ,
It’s all about wasting your time for something you’re addicted to .
Please can you tell me where to find the first part of this video? This says "chapter 2" and I NEED to see chapter 1!
I know this is not related but I'm addicted to my gadgets so much that I don't remember days or any years. and if one day if I get a chance to take alcohol and other things, I know I'll do that slowly to not feel this world.
this is so beutifull😍
1:32 where is this dialogue from ? Can’t find it anywhere and absolutely love it ❤
it's from a special episode of Euphoria!
What is the scene at 1:00? The woman looking in the mirror?
About addiction and i didnt see trainspotting anywhere 😢
Didn't watch it
@@JesseJr19 well go on then bruh watch it
