My it has been almost 30 days since I planted my bare root pawpaw that I got from Burgess online. I don't see any signs of life. I was waiting to see buds or leaves before I put the shade cloth on, but I haven't seen anything. It has been watered and fertilized. Do you think I should give up on it?
Please don't give up on it! I have one I overwintered and it is just barely starting to bud up. I would raise the shade cloth a little to let the sun warm it up a bit and keep an eye on it. I wouldn't give up on it until after June.
This looks really similar to the birdie planters that we’ve been using. We’re just ordered our fourth one. We really enjoy them also. I’ll be interested to see how you set up your drip irrigation to it. It seems like the watering is the continual challenge.
