It's been so long. I remember this now. Had completely forgotten about this cartoon. In my mind... Ultra kick ass!!! Loved every second of it! Favorited, 5 stars and comment.
Centurions, Gi Joe, Thundercats, Knights of the Zodiac (Saint Seya) and Transformers are on Top of the best 80´s eighties cartoons ever ! Thumbs up on this one if U agree ;) (Good old dayssss)
Man, I just laugh my brains out everytime they introduce Jake Rockwell. He just walks into frame, unloads from the gatlin gun on his chest and then there's an explosion the size of a city block. It's so quick and insane; I love it!
Fond memories of watching this in the early to mid 90s on Cartoon Network. I sure miss the classic cartoons and shows of the 80s and 90s, when TV was good.
The action figures to these guys were immense! Huge things they were, I had them all but sadly my neighbour broke Jake Rockwell's leg off! I just pretended it was shot off on the battlefield!! Power Xtreme!
OMG!!! I soo loved this series, my big time favorite was Jake and his cool motorcycle suit, my brother was always into Ace and my best friend loved Max, we played with the action figures every day! BRING ALL THE EPISODE OF THIS SERIES TO A DVD COLLECTION! PLZZZZZZZZZ!
The 11 people who disliked this work for Dr. Terror. I remember this cartoon, always loved it. Very underrated cartoon that deserves more recognition and praise.
I watched this show when Cartoon Network aired it during the early 1990s. I was so disappointed that there weren't any toys for it because it was made back in the 80's.
I remember this show. I loved it when I was a kid. Hmm, Ace McCloud the air operations expert. When you think about it, that Kind of sounds like Fox McCloud from Starfox.
This could so easily be adapted into a movie. Max Ray, SEAL. Jake Rockwell, Delta Force. Ace McCloud, Air Force Commando, who together despite initially starting as interservice rivals join forces to defeat the bad guy.
Every Cartoon from the 80's needed an air guy named "Ace." Centurions had "Ace McCloud," MASK had "Ace" who drove "Slingshot" (Motorhome that opened up to reveal a small fighter jet) and G.I. Joe had Ace (Brad Armbruster IIRC) who was the lead pilot of the "Joe Team" (flew the "Skystriker"). Kinda funny if you ask me!
i watched it in china in the 90‘s,my favorite tv cartoon afternoon. though after some year it can't be shown in tv. i have had the chance! really great time~~
Man and machine ... POWER EXTREEEEEEME Ohhhh my god, it's been a while :) It still shakes me from within, when i hear it. It's really very good Cartoon.
Bodj83 you are the MAN!!! I grew up on Centurions, Galaxy Rangers, Transformers, Gobots, Silverhawks, Thundercats, GI Joe, Bionic 6, COPS and many others. Man those were the days. Just like on saturday mornings you would look at the "Laugh A Lympics" with all the Hanna Barberra characters...." ;)
This is so awesome! And they probably have the coolest names ever! I mean; Max Ray, Jake Rockwell and Ace McCloud? Come on! They should make some kind of masterpiece figures of these guys, just like Transformers.
I'm w/ NinjaGhostScorpion. Heck, THIS show needs to be redone and come back. Ace was my favorite, cause he could fly and all. That girl in the space station was hot.
Years later when I finally learned that Jack Kirby did concept work for this it was like a few bridges in the uncanny valley finally made sense: the Iron Man / SHIELD / Asgardian look of it all.
Joke's on you, then; the series was animated by Studio Sunrise in between their Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and Mobile Suit ZZ Gundam series. This was the side-project of an anime studio. :V
I'd like to be Ace Mc cloud, and considered my 2 friends in class Maxray and Jake rockwell, though i'd often switch b/w Ace and Jake. Ahhhh the good old days!!!
I know that it was a glorified toy commercial in some ways, but Jack Kirby did some of the design work, and many of the episodes were actually pretty good. So much better than anime.
I was happy to get the entire series on DVD! I loved this cartoon.
It's been so long. I remember this now. Had completely forgotten about this cartoon. In my mind... Ultra kick ass!!! Loved every second of it! Favorited, 5 stars and comment.
Love the 80's/early 90's.
Also, I loved how movies and cartoons never failed in making the person who was the flying part of a team extremely cocky.

I uses to sit on the floor and eat my rice for lunch while watching this on TV. Great memories.
I was a kid in the 1980's

I watched this show when Cartoon Network aired it during the early 1990s. I was so disappointed that there weren't any toys for it because it was made back in the 80's.
The whole idea of having army personel wearing suits like that and just beaming them with whatever gear they need anywhere is so cool.
I've never felt more alive watching a cartoon series!
They aired here in the Philippines back in the 80's.

I remember I used to draw paper cut outs of these characters, and glue different armors to them each episode.
I remember this show. I loved it when I was a kid.
Hmm, Ace McCloud the air operations expert. When you think about it, that Kind of sounds like Fox McCloud from Starfox.

Remember when you can use the term "assault weapon" without tripping the moral alarms of parents?
