This has got to be the wildest FTK burn deck I've seen. Man summons Gustav 4 times and lays more artillery fire than Verdun.
Did I not see him resurrect one of his troopers or did that guy fucking cheat? Cuz he special summoned 4 times from his extra deck, as far as it looked, the same card! And the card limit afaik is still 3 per deck!
Ruinforce: Summon is not a hard once per turn.
Gustav Max: It's free real estate.
Saying Gustav Max should be banned instead of at least semi-limiting Ruinforce gives me the same vibes as Gossip Shadow being banned instead of Rhongo-Bongo
Or you know, errata if shadow so it can’t be attached to an xyz monster that would exceed its max limit.
Cause doesn’t Rhongo have a max limit of 5?

@@benjaythewhite Its requirement for a "normal" Xyz summoning of it is 2+ (max 5) Lvl 4 Warriors, but my point is Rhongo is the problem, not Gossip Shadow.
Rhongo is a very powerful floodgate that can end games quicker than most FG decks and its main counters are negating the summon or the very niche cards that force the opponent to send it away. With 4 materials, its 3k both ways, cant be destroyed in battle, _unaffected_ by other card effects, and stops the opponent from Normal and Special Summoning.
Yes, GS was part of a deck(s) that could bring it out with at least 4 materials, but Rhongo is still bad, if not worse, now that MD has Numbers Eveil and Sales Ban. Rhongo just shouldn't have been printed like this.

Honestly, the card is perfectly balanced. You cannot just force Konami to slap a hard once per turn on it. Besides, Earth Machine strategies have always been considered as rogue, since it loses to a lot of more consistent deck. Making no negate in 5 summon is dangerous enough, but losing to a single interruption means you lose the game makes the deck more rogue than it can be. The deck used in this video is possible most likely due to low rank+opponent no handtrap.
You sound like a Gustav enjoyer.
Just imagine you start the duel and see your enemy goes first and you have no handtraps. So you go and get a drink or something and after 1 minute you come back only to see you've lost.
This is like going second against exodia and you have no hand traps😂
Monster gate did the heavy lifting here, not Gustav or Ruinforce. If Master duel has an issue with these 60card.decks they would ban grass and snow.

Anyone who even thinks about summoning Rocket Arrow Express clearly has something wrong with them.
Thunder Dragon is still my go-to deck and reliably get two Titans out, pop my opponent's whole board, and hit for 6400.

Man I'm watching these Yu Gi Oh videos and it makes me think that most high level competitive games end between 1 or 3 turns tops.

I did not realize Gustav Max can be played this way, but it takes away the excitement of sizing up the opponent's deck. 🤔

Or don't ban it. Just give it a hard once per turn like everything else. I don't understand why Konami doesn't think they need to balance their broken game and that the state of the game is fine where it is whatever. Combos like this shouldn't even be possible.
A simple hard OPT errata would fix this bs. While hard OTP on every single card in the game without exception wouldn't necessarily fix the game entirely, it would certainly improve the balance overall

I feel like Monster Gate was the real enemy here.
Im still trying to figure out how some cards that have a once per turn effect can activate there effect again by being resummoned or summoning multiple copy while other cards that have the exact same effect wont do this i feel its a glitch

You ban this and the machina deck is dead in the waters.. stop it.. the card that needs to banned is the card that allows it to keep popping out.
Monster Gate is the problem not Ruinforce or Max.
I play with Ruinforce and Max. If Konami bans both cards, you kill my deck. And that I don't play the FTK version.

Clickbait title aside, has anyone ever seen Gustav or Liebe used in a manner that wasn't utterly heinous? Some cards are made to be banned.
Doing this is boring when it's not even playing, where was the game? Where's the challenge? Why even bother.
The point of the card game is to win by whatever means. No one is supposed to make the game fun for anyone. That’s how many TCG games are. There was a challenge at least, he had to go through his whole deck without getting interrupted.
