@ryanderenbecker8837 I know, but playing the card as intended, aka a 1800 beatstick that as "balance" lets your opponent draw 2 cards is not what we would call a good strategy

If you hit 5 times unblocked, you'll KO the opponent, but only hit 1/4 of their deck. Mill is not viable with that card.

I love how with Exodia decks it's almost never just drawing a few cards and winning. You always seem to need to draw your entire deck to get the five pieces.
Not really. It helps that exodia decks have a lot of draw power but it's not necessary. You can achieve the same effect through a searcher card like sangan.
@@BladeMasterIcarusor fill your deck with a ton of normal monsters with high defense or high attack (level 4s or lower) and do the under dog trick lol
You win in at most 3 turns usually 2 though
The lifegain sound after getting exobliterated is so funny
One of the reasons cards like Bistro Butcher and Chainsaw Insect are my favorites. There's always a new thing to do with them.
Hey bud, I love exodia and this version of yours but I was wondering how consistent is the deck for you to summon bistro butcher and start the combo, also how do you special summon from your extra deck as hippo carnival spells don't let you special summon untill you have a token on the field?

It's a fun strat, I've seen this before.
Try adding Mystik Wok and Tragoedia to your deck to keep your LP's up so you can keep drawing! It also helps in case you don't draw into Shrink in time.

This is an old school card respect
i would also recommend a copy of one day of peace as it nullifies all damage and gives you a draw like upstart, with the downside of the opponent also drawing, if that matters.
edit: my dumb comment is proof that Yu-Gi-Oh players don't read.
Having played a few butcher exodia decks you don't really need it
No, this is a bad idea. You need to take damage to draw the 2 cards. One day of peace stops all damage so you dont take battle damage therefore you dont draw.

Used Rainbow Life, every time they attacked the Butcher they gave me, I gained life points, and for some reason that doesn’t count as dealing damage, so they surrendered

Wow, I had no idea this deck could look so *WILDLY* different.
...Well, I mean, it's still Exodia, but of the cards in the (main) decklist, by number, *NINETEEN* of them are different. ...Though to be fair, 1 of those is because I don't have a 3rd Maxx "C", 3x Half Shut instead of Shrink, and 3x Reload instead of Mallet.
Though I will say, while I did manage to win with the deck in the 30sec event, it was in *SPITE* of my alt strategy, not _BECAUSE_ of it.

@@garythacker6731 I have a ton of replays _recorded_ but I don't know if I have any *saved* on Master Duel. Even if I did, maintenance just started so I can't check.
