Wow, I saw their October 2016 gig in Chicago and I have to say Steve looks 20 years younger in this video. He's a true metal inspiration, so happy he can keep this legendary band going with new music, re-recording, live album, and touring... Rock On and Cheers! Long Live Grim Reaper.
I would LOVE to see Steve/Grim Reaper live! They're on my bucket list. The problem is I live in Chattanooga, TN. We don't get shows. I don't know if Grim Reaper will play Nashville. It's been a goal for over 20 years to go to a show.
Love ya Steve!! Been a fan since '84. 2 years ago I had a near death motorcycle wreck, lost my right foot below knee and broke 19 bones. I understand the struggle. It's been a long road. Luckily I can still play the guitar. That was the 1st thing I made sure of when I woke from surgery. Been playing since '84 and hopefully will until the end. Stay strong and keep the fire alive brother!!
I saw Grim Reaper in Ringle Wisconsin before Steve lost his leg.Steve sounds as good now as he did decades ago.Seems like a nice guy and very friendly to his fans.It's hard to believe what a difference between his normal talking voice and his famous screaming performance.
I am really looking forward to the live album. I have always been a much bigger fan of live albums than studio albums. I got a bootleg CD of a show that Grim Reaper did back in 1987 called Hell On Wheels from their Rock You To Hell album. Armored Saint and Helloween were also at that show. Final Scream is the first song I ever heard from Grim Reaper back in the mid 80's when I was just a little kid and just loved their music ever since. I also love the album Steve did with Onslaught In Search Of Insanity.
can somebody please tell me what happened to him because this is the first I've heard or seen that he had his leg amputated I do not know what happened to him so can someone please share with me what happened to him I would very much appreciate it

He had a severe leg infection when he was in equador a couple of years ago and had no choice but to amputate it above the knee
