Book clubs are fun! Joining a book club is a great way to not only discover good reads. It's also a great way to build friendships.

Ooh, I like that rule about picking a book you've already read and liked. I'm making arrangements to start a book club, and I think I'll suggest we do that while we're still starting out

Thank you so much for this video! You have a lot of good suggestions. I recently started a book club which is going pretty good. We have 14 members and we just started a Facebook page!

That’s a great idea to start with a swap! I started an outdoor discussion group. I post a topic and some video links. We discuss them while we walk a few miles and then go to dinner after. It’s pretty fun!

I love the book swap party!!! I’m not sure if I’m a book club or not because I don’t read the whole book, I just share parts that stood out to me and do a different book everyday... but either way thanks for the tips 💕

Excellent tips thank you. Does anyone have additional tips on how to organize the discussion part? I’ve never been to a book club, is the discussion supposed to be organized or free flowing?

One thing I use for reading suggestions is the shelf behind the host.

I like the idea of a book-swap or clothes-swap party. It sounds like soooo much fun, acutually. I have a question though. How often did you meet, every 2 weeks? I don't want to stress out people with my book club idea. :)

This video was very helpful, I’ve started a book club, but I wasn’t sure if after having given the basic idea of how it’ll work, is there more that was needed to be said or weekly updates just to keep the excitement going. Thanks for the tips ❤️

I think the reason why on almost every video about starting a book club got just a few comment is just because "they" love to reading, not writing.

Theres this woman in pittsburgh, that's jealous of an author from pittsburgh, so she broke in his mothers house to steal his information,. She started a book club, and took one of his books, and had others analyze it, and draw opinions that he said his mother was crazy. So she spread rumor everywhere. Had others horass his mother, break in her home, and vandelize it. Stole things from her home. Even corrupted morals of teens and child, to come against this man's mother, helped put him in jail. Het names diane bunch.
