I paused the video halfway through, grabbed a small watercolor book I hadn’t opened yet and painted along with you. It’s so nice to be reminded how relaxing and pleasant watercolor can be. You have a new subscriber.
I absolutely love this idea ....it makes painting birds so approachable and fun. There are so many cute and interesting poses I can already think of to have my lil birdies ...it's almost like they could each have there own lil personalities. I also love that depending on the colors, background, and shape of your birds, they are adaptable to unique styles and moods you may want to give off in your painting. Thank you for this cool and inspiring idea
Thanks so much for your kind words 😊 I am so happy you enjoyed this little tutorial - When thinking of the tutorial, I wanted to give the little birdies something to do or have an active pose, I am glad you liked this approach - I have another tutorial on birds coming soon, but this time with Colors and they look absolutely adorable! - Thank you again for watching!
Oh! thank you so much for watching! I truly hope you find my little tutorial helpful and simple enough to give it a try! Always here if you have any questions :)
So amazing how you used one color to create a three dimensional appearance and made the bird come to life! I loved watching you paint these lovely lifelike birds.
Thank you thank you, THANK YOU ❤ I’ve been wanting to try birds and had given up months ago - you made it possible - you’re not only incredibly talented but an amazing teacher as well - thank you again!!
I just came across this video. Thank you ! Seriously i had to dig deep to find this amazing simplistic video. Your instructions and patience is amazing. Thank you very much
Thank you so much, I almost exclusively use Winsor & Newton professional series for indigo and cadmium yellow - Holbein for turquoise, orange and pink (those are the colors I use the most
Thank you, I am sorry to hear that you can't understand me. Brush strokes are as simple as I can manage, but maybe my instructions are not as clear to you. I might find a different approach in another video - thank you for the feedback though :)
This is beautiful but it really isn't for beginners as there's no help at all on how to make the brush strokes. It looks easy but I've spent an hour and not made a single stroke that looks like these 😞
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that you have not had much success with these little birds - I will try to make another video focusing on the brush strokes themselves - thank you so much for the feedback :)
