That's a Shield Style master right there!
Those reflects were perfect. What's the timing on getting it back out that fast by the way? I always struggle doing back to back shields without accidentally shooting.
Hm, it takes a lot of practice to really get good at rapid Reflects, but it can be done much faster than in this video. I think my videos of YamatoMan, the N.O Omega in Job Request 25, and Alpha demonstrates the extent of rapid Reflects. I think basically you can Reflect again as soon as your shield gets hit, but it’s hard to explain the timing. All I can say is to practice a lot.
Chaud comes in with the sharpest sword possible and Lan just casually flexes on him with an impenetrable shield.
Him and plantman are the most fun to use reflect on
Omega battles are so fun and cool. I wish you could replay all of them and fight more omega viruses in post game
Amazing job with the reflect and movement
Thank you! And yes I definitely agree, I wish I could refight them.
I don't remember shield healing? Is that a navi cust part i forgot about?
Hello. Shield healing is a special property of Shield style. You can use Shield/Reflect while in any style but if you time it just before getting hit while in Shield style you also heal.
@@barrywiskers283 Oh yeah...I one-hundred percent forgot that detail. I guess it's been so many years since I maxed out (or even used Shield style outside of BN2), so I forgot that was a mechanic. Thank you for clarifying!
BLUS SHIELD 歐
1:02 wait how did protoman get 1699 HP?
Hello there. Unfortunately I missed the beginning of the battle. I apologize for not recording the whole thing. This was recorded using the Switch record feature which only records up to 30 seconds at a time. I plan on using an external recorder to avoid these situations in the future.
As for how he got to that specific number amount, ProtoManΩ actually starts with 2000 HP. I assume what happened was that I Reflected his first Sonic Boom, then he would jump forward for his follow up strike, either WideSwrd or FtrSwrd, which I would also Reflect, then I'd shoot him with a normal buster shot at 1 damage to trigger a counter from him which I would Reflect again for a total of 301 damage.
