You were probably deleting him too quickly. I think he only uses it when he’s below half health.

@@TheManofManyTitles hey there! Shield style can be obtained in a few different ways. You actually get points towards Shield for not getting hit in a battle, so as long as you are only using the style’s elemental charge attacks and not firing regular Buster shots then Shield will win out over Guts if you don’t get hit. You also gain points towards Shield by using the Shield and Reflect abilities, which are available before getting Shield style from an EX code with the Mod Tools. Also Hub Style is only in BN2. It’s not in BN3.

Thanks for the explanation. I’ll add a bit. He also attacks after every 4 moves. After attacking there’s a chance of attacking again up to 3 times. When he does, he alternates between WideSword and HeroSword. He only uses Delta Ray at or below 50% HP.

Haha that was a very stressful part. I messed up dodging the Killer Eyes so I knew I was in a tight spot. Those Alpha Bugs are scary enemies. They attack so quickly that I learned to keep moving instead of trying to react, and only attack immediately after their attacks. The plan was to hit it on the grass to counter act it’s regen, and I almost ran out of grass but got lucky with the last hit.

@@barrywiskers283 yeah, dude was at 199 on that last grass panel, a frame or two more and you would've been toast Good fighting though

@@oi_bruv thanks! It is still possible to kill them without grass, it’s just harder. Fortunately being in Ground style limits their area to move around, making them easier to hit.

@@rebycVG yeah, it’s interesting. It’s not like the Invis chip, he’s just actually invisible but still tangible. I think that’s the only case like that in the series.

@@TyreseJackson it really is! Any Wood style is really good against Alpha, that Tornado is really strong. Too bad you can’t use sand against him, but it’s still pretty strong already.

That one is exclusive to Team Colonel, you can only use the buster rack Bass Cross on Team Protoman
