How to Measure the DC Voltage of Various Batteries using a DMM

A brief tutorial on how to measure accurately the DC voltage of a variety of batteries. This can be simple but using the incorrect voltage range will not provide you with an accurate measurement. In this tutorial I will explain how to do this using the best range on a DMM that is not auto ranging. This tutorial is well suited for the electronic / electrical technician, technologist, engineer, trades person, or home hobbyist that has no experience with a DMM.
