I would like to ask about the tonality... Is there a reason you kept the original Gb Major?
It'll sound a bit more muffled for the quartet, as there's a lack of open strings resonating. (Although, this is an awesome effect!)
If the Gb Major isn't intentional, we, string players, will have to work around those flats like a puzzle for no reason. Unless, like I said, the muffled sound is intended!

Thanks so much, I never knew that about string instruments! I'm a woodwind player so I just kept it in the original key as Db major is so lush, I'll keep that in mind next time I arrange for strings!
