- Finally we clean up our disgusting rundown bathroom area so it's livable.
We attempt to move one of our 20ft shipping containers into a better position with our excavator.
And, we attempt to air-rate our dam water to clear it up a little.
Hope you guys are enjoying the videos.
Big love - Brooke and Denis
What a blessing, to open a bedroom door and not have to first check all over for a snake. You're living in the future!
Den is the best, slides and socks 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Brooke
An idea for your leaking louvre windows is you could get some of those pvc outdoor blinds to cover the outside to stop the rain from coming in and then repurpose them later on for on your future deck . Just a thought and nicely done for your bathroom.
I don’t know if you got my comment i made from a earlier video. But seeming you have an excavator you should dig a long deep hole for all the rubbish you have and when all your building and cleanup is finished you can cover it over and you’ll save dump fees as well as easier cleanup. We all do it on big acreage 👍
Looks like it starting to look more comfortable and if you're property has goog fences get some goats to mow down the weeds and grass. They do a great job on black berry bushes .Cheers from Melbourne.
I watch a couple of diy people on RUclips and one channel that might interest you is called DIYfferent. They are a lovely couple in Florida who are renovating a really old house from the 50s. They do awesome work and I think you might enjoy seeing them.
Oh thank you!
Nice Work Guys 👏👍 Thanks for Sharing ! Big improvements & now very liveable 😊 Steve from Qld 🏄♂️🏖
With that panel/battery setup for your aerator, you could wire in a light sensor to turn the power off when it gets dark. To stop using the power overnight, or wire in a timer.
Looks great guys. Maybe it'll grow on you and you'll keep it like that.
By CQ standards, for an old house it's quite livable.
I've got to do my bathroom next so this was interesting. I'm casting around for good ideas to make it at least halfway decent.
It looks a whole lot better than it did on day one. I agree, not much point spending money on it when you are just going to knock it down.
Throw lime in your dam. It will settle everything to the bottom. My parents used to do that to their dam & it cleaned it up a treat.
The house is looking good !! Happy New Year !! Thank you for the video .
It's amazing how much of a cooling effect can be had making use of the breeze and shade.
work in progress -good stuff
Another great project guys . It helps being able to do your own jobs ,very satisfying
Love this channel watching all the way from Tassie 😊 not sure I could live with the snakes tho my wife would freak out, now subscribed to the channel keep up the good work guys love getting diy tips
Awsome job guys inside and out 😮😊
Great idea clearing up the dam. Planting some Bulrush will also act as a biological filter!
😎👍
Love you guys getting it done. you know i don't care your not fishing....how weird!
the real question is how are the new house plans coming along?
We had two weeks rain recently so Denis and I had a chance to nut out a rough house plan ☺️ but the shed is first.
Hey Brooke, how did you guys go with the Starlink setup for the internet? I'm thinking of getting one?
We love it. It was super easy to set up and haven't had any issues with it.
👍🙂 nice
im starting to think you should keep this place i know i would i do this for a living
are there any crocs in your area
proporbaly not there as they said central qld crocks are more of a north qld thing
Not so much. More towards Rockhampton.
Why are you guys doing so much to that house to get rid of it and rebuild ?
