That's a great comparison video. I've been using a Cobra RadSpeed XB for about 4 months now. Wound down to 9.5. I love it. Has added distance for me. 👌🤠
@JonPerkinsGolf An old inherited 10 degree driver, probably 20 years old. Head size is about half the size of the Cobra. Couldn't find a brand name on it, apart from the phrase 'Explore with IBM'. Very strange club but went Ok. 🤠
I always thought turning the loft down increased fade bias, do I have that completely backwards? I love stat comparisons like this much more than on course comparisons, seeing raw number differences is very helpful
Thanks for the message. With the draw bias parts, I have a weight moved to draw on the Ping and the Cobra offered a draw option in the shaft setup, so those are what I used.
You are correct. Lowering loft opens clubface, increasing loft closes the face. The draw setting he refers to increases the lie angle, which provides a more left starting line.
Your channel is my new favourite golf channel on YT
That's awesome, really means a lot to hear a comment like that. Thank you.

Thanks! What did you use before the RadSpeed?

@@ianmooneyGOLF Well sounds like you're onto a winner now either way!
Jon, great comparison. I am a Cobra driver man. I currently game the Cobra F8+. I would love to see you play a few rounds with the Cobra.
Great to hear and thanks for sharing!
I am a year behind but I just got the Aerojet. Super excited to try it out this weekend
Hope it went well.
@@JonPerkinsGolf it sure did! I am proud to say I officially hit my first 300+ yard drive
Yes get them on the course 👌
Good review, ive recently bought the Cobra Aerojet,, tried the Ping,, just too much spin with the Ping.
Very interesting!!

The Aerojet Max driver offers a draw bias weight in addition to the one on the standard driver. Great vid mate.@@JonPerkinsGolf
Takomo irons and a cobra driver.....you've changed!
🤣just trying to find ways to beat you!!
As a high (ish) handicapper, forgiveness and fairway splitting would get my vote. Good review Jon.
Never bad to be in the fairway!
Talk about the shaft
Thanks
Yikes, your average smash factor is quite low. Below 1.4 with the Ping. At least the Cobra was over 1.4.
🤣 yeah I'm not boasting about it... Swings not been at it's best of late.
What shaft was on the cobra?
Hey, I'm away at the moment without my clubs. From memory I want to say a Mitsubishi stiff, possibly 65 grams. I'd have to check when I'm back home.
