Great to see a review based on an average club golfer's swing speed. Too many You Tube reviews show a professional golfer smashing balls over 290 yards. I am a senior golfer swing speed only 65 mph & would like to see drivers tested with a slow swing speed. I have subscribed & look forward to you reviewing clubs & shafts designed for the numerous senior golfers. Thank you.
Great series from Chris and Dave who is showing the benefit of Chris’s coaching. Excellent length and good banter without taking away from the main message. I am a mid handicapper and getting a lot from these videos. Keep up the good work!
Utterly weird that they changed the tee before he even hit. Proceeds to hit everything low and they don’t change back. Test is completely null void imho
Great to see once again Chris. Hats off to Dave! Interesting to see Dave mainly hitting fades on the course videos, but mainly hitting draws when testing in the studio
Got aerojet max 10.5 with senior shaft. Gained 20 yards. $150 this year for last year's mint. Got a 5 wood $120, I am 50 yards further down the par 5s.
It’s good to see the opinion of a mid handicap with an average swing because some newer golfers might look at a pro’s testing and think well this driver goes more than 300 yards without taking into consideration it’s got more to do with the swing speed and impact than the club.
Well done Chris and Dave, very interesting series of videos. It’s very difficult for us ordinary golfers to see past the razzle dazzle of a new product launch, especially when the influencer has been flown out to an exotic location and wined and dined for a couple of days, obviously they want to keep the invitations coming. Big up to Dave ,he is a pretty handy golfer off of twelve, not easy having your flaws exposed, be interested to see what he ends up gaming
I am a new subscriber, your channel is so informative and all the testing you do, everybody saying cobra, ping taylormade are the best for 2023, I hope you test the 2023 tour edge when it comes out , I believe it's going to be a bomber !!!, keep the good content coming.
Good review guys. As we are most definitely not robot golfers it is tricky to compare drivers particularly when day to day swings can vary so much for average golfers.
@@daveharrison1160 did you hit more than the 3 shots on camera Dave, might be worth revisiting. I, playing the G425 and every reviewer seems to suggest the G430 is an improvement 🤷🏻♂️👍🏼👍🏼
@@adrianscott6005 no just the 3, but I will be doing further testing but perhaps not on film. When I do pick a driver I’m sure Chris will be involved, but there are a few more being released I’ll like to test as well.
@@mikebergstrom9500 I guess it’s an opinion thing and that’s what testing is about. You think they’re better than the Callaway, I didn’t, all a matter of opinion. 👍
The Cobra Speed LD is the loudest driver I have ever heard. My wife still uses one and I tried it at the range the other day - the manager came over after I hit 3 balls and not so politely asked me to either put the thing away or depart the premises. Sheesh.
I recently bought the Aerojet Max and the shallow body/face does not give me the confidence I need on the tee. Very disappointed, so worried about hitting sky balls and ruining the top of the driver that I have stopped using it and will sell whilst it is still unmarked, because it's only a matter of time.
Love the content but for future reference how about less talking and more hitting I've watched for 12 minutes and only saw 4 balls hit between 2 drivers I about fell asleep watching. Talk for an hour at the end if you want all I care about is numbers.
unless he has a bunch of money , with his swing speed and consistency I would look into a 5 to 6 year old driver and save a pile of money and get some lessons . :) should tee the cobra up higher to help him out , he is still hitting to low on the face . IMO of course , by the way should of compared the PIng SFT version to the Cobra max as they are the draw bias versions. with the Ping Max , should compare regular Cobra to that one . IMO of course again For the heck of it find this guy a Cobra speedzone Xtreme to try in the higher loft . that has a really big profile and is deeper then the regular Cobra's

Love the work with the mid handicap
These videos are such help for us everyday golfers. Chris great job keep them coming brother
Good to see these comparisons from a mid handicapper. Would like to see Dave use the Cobra with the pink tees.
Utterly weird that they changed the tee before he even hit. Proceeds to hit everything low and they don’t change back. Test is completely null void imho
We all use diff tee heights to suit OUR swing in bad windy weather I use WHITE to keep the ball low!
Your on a winner with this format, thats what us club players need.
Good series Chris. Let's have a round of applause for Dave's barber, top notch cut there. Had to be said
50 yds of run .......what are the fairway conditions set to .....concrete ?

Another great review Chris. You're turning young Dave into a RUclips star. Well done lads!
Chris, love these videos. Much more relatable for us mere mortals!

Still waiting to be flown out to an exotic location to be wined and dined 😂😉😥

Wilson too

Well done guys- refreshing to see a mid handicapper testing - very surprised about the Ping though, thought that may have performed better for Dave 👍🏼
I was hoping it would be

Both the Cobra and Ping are better then the Calloway. I just don’t think Dave liked them to begin with.

The king cobra sz line my daughter has the sz357 I think but sounds awesome when hit clean
Cobra 440sz unlimited? Was crazy loud!
Are you going to try the new Wilson driver. I've heard good things about it.
Hoping to
Looking to see Wilson tested too. Fingers are crossed.
Tried it hated it then again I blame all my bad shots on my clubs I mean it can't possibly be me or could it 😂
Speed LD was the loudest. I still have it in my Sunday bag.
yep!
Would you put a 90 mph swing speed player in a lower spinning head if they tended to hit down on driver a bit and had 3000 + spin often?
The way he us swinging, you should have brought tge Callaway back to see if it is the arriw or the archer.
Thanks for the max reviews
Please test against last years models. Do slower swing speeds get even less benefits of the marginal improvements?
Awesome content. Cobra l4v x model very loud. Had one n loved it.
Cobra LV4 and LV5. I owned both of them and yes 9 holes away all my buddies knew it was me.
Try the standard Aerojet.. the max sucks.. also what’s his spin rate and efficiency? Launch angle?
Are the numbers adjusted for the fact he’s hitting range balls?!?!?
Do you think if Dave tried the low spin versions of these clubs if they suited Dave better like the Triple Diamond did ???
My cobra fly z was the loudest driver iv ever hit. LOVED it though

I'd like to see the TSR driver in this mix. Great distance forgiveness and sound for me.
EDIT @9min 34secs - Did Dave fresh air it ?
Why do all Ave golfers look at the head and not the shaft? Golfers all swing differently and a lot of the time it's the shaft not suitable.
Cobra L4v Playing partner had one, we called it the wok.
How does Dave hit the tsr2
Not tried it yet, but hoping to
Great series guys. I had a Nike SQ . Needed ear defenders mind you 🤣
Whatever Dave chooses is best MOT #lufc
i like the cobra testing "low and left, low and right"
why not go back to the higher tee? lol
The cobra driver was the L4V. It came with ear plugs 👂🔌
Cobra SS 430 was ear-piercing on-strikes... Could be heard from anywhere on a golf course
No TSR Driver for Dave to test.
Cobra 428 or 440 driver are the loudest. Still have a 440 head at home.
Was the cobra driver the sz extreme sounded like a kid kicking a football on a garage door🤣🤣
I like letters and numbers ST-Z230, G430, ZX5. TSR3. Not gimmicky, you know what you are getting.

I think the cobra driver was 44psz comes with built I tinnitus
Never mind the bacon sandwich you want to go to hoggies for a breakfast wrap! 🤤
Good honest stuff! 🤙🏻

Cobra ss370 or sz400..jeez they were loud and long!
Great video but on what planet is twelve "mid handicap"?
Do you not acknowledge that maximum handicap is fifty four?
Mid handicap is twenty -seven.

THREE shots with the Ping? Surely that tells you nowt?
The tee height was too low, that's why Dave couldn't get the Cobra up. At least that's the excuse he gives his wife.
Can’t recall trying to get a Cobra up 😂
King Cobra in 7 degrees. Sounded like a cowbell and flew forever.
Loud Driver? My mind immediately goes to the Hibore driver from Cleveland. Ear-piercing!
Nice report guys
Cleveland hi- bore was a tin can!
Cobra Titanium SZ unlimited was pretty noisy
I think the loud cobra was the F speed
Cobra Speed LD was a horrendous sounding driver.
Results: Dave sucks. (So do I)
Callaway is terrible. Go Titleist
tee is to low
Maybe, tried it higher couldn’t get comfortable with it
F6+ driver
