Instructional videos are not really my "thing", but I think you'll get a good understanding of what's required to put these plates onto your Honda Rubicon, Foreman or Rancher.
I bought these skid plates from Iron Baltic after researching several options on-line and talking to fellow ATV'ers regarding plastic vs aluminum plates. Everyone I talked to who had aluminum plates suggested I go with plastic for two reasons. Aluminum bends and it has a higher friction coefficient, which of course means it does not slide over rocks and logs as easy. The biggest complaint against the aluminum plates was that they bend and have to be removed to be straightened, which also weakens the integrity of the metal.
After receiving the plates, and doing my unboxing video, Iron Baltic refunded my money on agreement I would make this install video, which I was going to do anyway, so it was a huge win for me.

The labelling of the hardware is awesome also! These folks have clearly done a Lego set or two in their time, haha.
    Skid plate seems stout.
Only thing I'm kind of surprised about is loctite use. But I honestly don't recall if my trail armor skids on the wildcat called for it either. I'm pretty sure it didn't. With so many mounting points I don't know that it matters a ton anyway.

I haven't busted one part or ripped one boot since I put these on. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!
But to answer your questions, there's access to the oil drain plug and for the front and rear diffs. I'm not out at my shop right now, so you should look at them on the Iron Baltic web site to confirm this information. As far as cleaning them out goes, it all depends on what you've been driving in. I can spray out the sandy mud from the trails, but in the fall the leaves collect, so I take the belly plates off to get all the debris out. The better the protection, the harder it will be to clean out. If you don't have any skid plates at all, there would be nothing to clean out, but you'd suffer more damage.

Good questions WoodlandGhost. Iron Baltic has plastic and aluminum to choose from.
I bought these after researching several other options on-line and talking to fellow ATV'ers regarding plastic vs aluminum plates.

QUESTION:: Mabey it's a dumb question,,,, Is there any concern of engine "fluids" seeing that the bike is vertical for so long??? Talk about making the job SOOOO MUCH EASIER!!!! ALSO WHAT MAKE AND MODEL ARE Y'ALLS COMMS GEAR??

Sorry Shane, I could have sworn I answered your question about the comms in another video comment. We use Cardo Packtalk's.
I have no concerns about the oil. It drains down into the tranny and then levels back out when the machine is put back on its wheels. The gasoline is another story though; don't stand it up on a full tank 😉
Thanx for the comments and for watching!

Driving it up on ramps and then laying on your back on an auto creeper is the only other way I can think of.

      Taco Proof - HAHAHA!!!
They're not as heavy as they look. I'd say the entire package was only around 25 lbs. I was just being a whimp with my old messed up shoulders - lol
Thanx for the comments and for watching John!
