Wonderful October story! Thank you. [also, I recorded the "you fool!" from your introduction on my phone and will be using it as a text tone -- thanks for that as well!]
Oh my gourd, what a great story and reading! How will John ever explain this anyone!? They'll all think it's just pulp fiction. It would definitely give the town pumpkin to talk about but most likely just squash his reputation.
“Over the valley’s rim a wan, waning crescent moon peered through the noisome vapours that seemed to emanate from unheard-of catacombs, and by its feeble, wavering beams I could distinguish a repellent array of antique slabs, urns, cenotaphs, and mausolean facades; all crumbling, moss-grown, and moisture-stained, and partly concealed by the gross luxuriance of the unhealthy vegetation.” Keep up the good work fella and stay safe!
Thank you for such a classic Halloween tale. I like all kinds of horror storys but in oktober I love such storys the most. Also great voicing like always. ^^
Good One Thank you for posting I understand that vegetable growing contests are kind of a big thing over there As an aside ,some relatives in Scotland entered the village pumpkin growing contest At their request we mailed them some super big Pumpkin seeds from the Luther Burbank company in California We were obliged to send the package to a P O Box in another town some distance away so no one in the would know Apparently such a tactic ( planting foreign seeds) was considered unethical
Another excellent offering. Took a break from listening to The complete Carnacki Ghost Finder Collection, of which I am 5 hours into. As good as the marathon stories are sometime a shorter tale hits the spot. And as always thanks to everyone involved.
This was pretty good in terms of atmosphere and suggestive horror, but I feel like it could've added more. What did the strange potion that Burt create do to the pumpkin? Did it make it carnivorous? I feel like a little detail (but not TOO explicit) about what the potion does would add substance to the horror. Otherwise, another fantastic read Ian. Thanks Horrorbabble!
One of our favorite channels. I just wish they'd say "We hope you enjoy it, ladies and gentlemen," since "Folks" has an unwholesomely egalitarian ring to it, too characteristic of our politically batshit age.
"Twin rifle reports." 6:56 Lol! Love it when Vickers says that!
Great story and narration!
Thanks!
That story gives new meaning to stuffed pumpkin 🎃
I am constantly amazed that the thumbs up are so few. This is better than TV and extremely well finished. Thanks again for the amazing content.
It's the most wonderful time of the year
Amazing as always...Im crossing my fingers for A horrorbabble reading of “the very old folk” by lovecraft
I second the motion!
Yeah that would be awesome
The coincidence of a "B. Cranston" being a chemistry teacher isn't lost on me. That's funny.
I hope the horror babble team can find another weird Halloween horror tale
knew it was coming but still really enjoyed it
Ha ha that was lots of fun !! THANK YOU - a great way to greet the day -

This is no place for seedy punsters
You on a roll!
Brilliant adaptation. Fits the season perfectly. 💀🎃☠️
Wooohooo! Always love Vickers. There is a whole playlist of his in HorrorBabble if you like this one.
Vickers! I thought you were joking! I love this 🎃

M.D. Vickers - the best!
The whole microwaved Lasagne horrified me.

Cranston “ retired chemistry teacher?”. This is braking bad!
Nice story for the season. Especially with me, my son, and my mother toung to a pumpkin farm tomorrow lol.
That's what they call getting squashed!
Thanks yet again for another outstanding video Ian and crew!!!!!!!!!!!!!😈👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
One of Vicker's best. This channel has motivated me to get back into writing
Def thought this was an antique story until he mentions a cellphone.
Ah another Vickers! Absolutely love it!
🎃 Can’t say I didn’t see that coming. No inanimate object is clear from being vilified with Vickers. Vickers Knickers.
Gotta love Vickers, thank you for another fun story!

Thank you for the story.
So soothing and perfect for a fall night!
HA! Very Good! 🎃🎃 TY *Ian Gordon w/HorrorBabble*
Horrorbabble thank you!!!!!!
Excellently creepy. Can someone enlighten me about the 'Warren' introduction?

That pumpkin - squamous AF.
Thanks so much Both!
The pumpkin looks great 😁🎃
Brilliant as always 💙
Cranston....a chemist.
It would be a nod to breaking bad if it wasnt written before tv was even really a thing lol
Brilliant!
Please do Dracula! With different voices for the different characters?
Dracula is on our radar. Eventually, sir.
Great story
Fantastic 🌘
Great story!.
Most entertaining.

listening from the uk wales 2021❤️
Greetings to you in Wales 🏴 from Scotland 🏴, formerly a White Rose.
I LOVE Wales 🏴 Xxx 🙏🏼 ❤️ 🍀 🗺️
Cheating should be done cold-sober. For this transgression, a poor man was taken to flask. Kudos.
Very good a bit like a "Roald Dahl" tale 😎👍
Spoogy Skary Sceletons!
if you’ve ever had a rotten pumpkin on your hands, you know how it - well, stinks. it’s really awful. LOL 🎃😈
I try to eat mine before they start to turn.... [Grins with pumpkin seeds stuck in my teeth....]
@@WWZenaDo cute :)🐶
Eckersley! We have to cook!
Is this a sequel to "A terribly strange bed"?
The lasagna wanted OUT!
Seems rather improbable. What would a pumpkin do with a hip flask?
M. D.!!
Your merch is top quality kit and cosy as can be, washes well.
I am particularly enjoying the glazed eyes as I try to explain.... 🤔 🤣
I have a hoodie and two shirts from 3 years ago and they’ve held up so well along with the graphics!
🐐
😱😱😱
M.D. Vickers? More like M.D. Vorekers
FEED ME, SEYMOUR 🤘😈🤘
Wanna know how I got these scars? 🤣
