    Burns your triceps, great workout for home with even a training barbell and few plates.

    Elbows flared out is actually more effective

    i think this exercise is a shoulder killer exercise. i tried it with 30kg but i felt like my shoulders were going to get injured.

      do rotator cuff stretches before your tricep workout

      I've done this workout for years, and it definitely doesn't injure your shoulders. In fact, once you get used to it, you barely feel anything in your shoulders when you do it, and the burn is all in your triceps. If it hurts your shoulders, do it with less weight until your body is used to the motion.

      @@gabrielblacklock3921 I got used to the shoulder position of this exercise when I do dumbbell extensions. I usually like to burn out on these with high sets and reps. Great point 👍🏻

      What's the decent weight for this workout. I did 54kgs for 3 reps max

      @@mac210100Definetely lower weight, you should be able to rep close to 10 before the fatigue starts inhibiting you from more.
