Pragmatic fatecarver and recuperative treatise are both good for people who are low CP and have issues with sustain. I swapped those morphs for the time being simply for the sustain. Damage does take a bit of a hit, but running through dungeons without running out of resources just feels good
Those are both great points and In hindsight I wish I had mentioned some of the options more. TBH it’s always a balance and I’m rarely 100% happy with where I land.
That’s really odd as the sustain is really good with this build. I would run through everything and make sure you have all your passives, medicinal use, etc… if you are still having issues then consider switching to a maelstrom back bar with Wall. That’s should do it. Feel free to come by the discord as well. Can give you better help there.
I've been using deadly and corol. I find it hard to take off deadly because it gives so much damage to the beam. Do you think pillars would pull more dps? Then, deadly? I'll give it ago thanxs for the info. i just got the new class the other week, so much fun and really easy to use, and I loveing it
Omgggg your video layout is so beautiful and thoughtful I don’t really sub but mannnn you deserved a sub. Might not even see this but if you do love your videos hand down. Just what did you do for attribute points ?
Thank you! I put it a lot of work to make ‘em look good, so it’s nice it’s not going unnoticed! This is a stam build, so 64 in that. It’s a little busy but you can find it on the card about halfway down towards the left. Just so you know where it is on other builds. You can also find these cards on my community tab here on RUclips or on the discord. Hope that helps!
This looks amazing. I've been trying out all sorts of set combinations. Some good, some not so good. I think as long as i can keep the attributes up i should be okay.
Hello! I’ve been using this build for awhile now and I know it’s 122k but I only hit at most 40k even with mastering rotation. Is there something that could be wrong? My crit is 62% with 40% crit dmg I don’t understand
Part of my stamarc sets of builds on Alpha Gear. Also highlights why one needs to work on skills outside of the “just dps” part of the skill lines. I also use both ultimates.. and both leveled. Good stuff Night… catching up on stuff.
Front barring pillar of nirn increases the chances that it's going to pop off on a mob that you don't want it to. I can't think of a better way to sink your DPS when you are fighting a boss than for your proc set to go off on an add across the room. With flail and beam it feels like a total crapshoot on where it's going to pop
You can’t think of a better way? I bet you could. That’s a fair point though, on some boss fights it could be better to front bar one of the alternate sets like Deadly.
You might want to double check you have the Medicinal Use passive from the alchemy skill line and then drink a potion whenever you get low. Also worth checking you have your armor passives as well. If it’s neither of those things I would recommend coming by the discord and hitting up the help channels and we can give you some more fine tuned advice there.
So Skinny Cheeks covered this in a broad sense apparently. I’ll link his video below. But my short answer is that you are comparing a 12% increase in dot damage to an increase in weapon and spell damage from the dual wield passive and the critical chance given by daggers. So basically you need to compare apples and oranges. Turns out they come out very close to one another and it would be totally fine to run an inferno staff. Just realize you might have to tweak some things for sustain.
@cameronnewhook9697 I would probably throw on a other fighter guild passive skill and beam more. Could also use rune or destructive reach. Or any other decent dot.
How would deadly on the body 1 piece slime craw amulet malestrom inferno and orders wraith front bar I was going to go with whorl on the front bar just can't get any groups had it on the body and deadly on the weapons but obviously I'd get more DPS from the 5 medium and I was also confused would charged be best on the front bar staff then precise
@cameronnewhook9697 it’s less of an issue on an arcanist than most classes since you have the extra critical damage from passives. Just make sure you are capped out on it and you’re good. Whorl is fine, but one of the less good of the top tier sets because it requires light attacks and the beam is so long. You will miss times when it procs. But we are talking a few k dps.
So, I'm about CP250, running this build. Have 5 piece pillar of nirn and 5 piece order's wrath at the moment (epic). Daggers are random set that give me extra crit until I can get something else. The damage numbers you are putting out are just bonkers. My beam crits are maaaaaaybe getting up to 14-15k. The beginning of the video you are getting 3x that. It seems so far out of reach xD
Hmm with that big of a difference you’re probably comparing crits to non-crits, but regardless I wouldn’t stress it. ESO is very much a skill based game and it took me years to get where I am. And I play games for a living. If you want any help though to speed you along the way, come by the discord. We have help channels, and plenty of experienced people there to help.
Thanks man! And yes, best place is downloading it from the discord (link is on my RUclips homepage) so you get the high resolution version but you can also find it on my community tab here on RUclips. Can really download it from the later but you can screen shot it.
Oh yeah, any race is viable, it just might be a little bit less on Dps. In a worst case scenario you are looking at like 5k, but redguard should maybe be a few k.
If you take a look at the card you’ll find there are crafted, purchasable, and/or easy to get sets there. And I do this on all my builds, so if you don’t see something like that, just let me know because I made a mistake.
why is it when you showing a build your only using a dummy it dosnt fight back so why waste the time farming all that gear if we don't even know if it will hold up in a real game play and all the builds you do show always has a trail set in them cant you make a all around good set that dosnt use a trail set ever one dosnt all was like doing trails
We use the dummy to normalize the data, to give an apples to apples comparison. The reason I often show trials is because they are harder than overland and dungeons, so I’m showing the hardest thing the build is designed for. Showing overland, some delve or dungeon isn’t really proving anything. For my Infinite Archive builds you’ll see archive footage. So maybe serch for that if it’s what you are looking for. The reason all my builds have one trial set is because that how you get the most damage, that’s how the developers designed the game. If you can’t do trials then just replace it with on of the non trial sets i recommend.
There was a mistake on the CP here. The card is correct, I was reading the CP from my other, non-beam build. Sorry for the confusion.
Your awesome I like your body language straight telling us the build no bs good content creator energy

I’m cp 1300 and still can’t maintain sustain even with pots

You can move ulti without stopping beam. For anyone who needs to know.
8:12 I feel personally attacked lmfao >:D This is something id do
Haha we all do it at times.
This video really cleared a few things up for me, appreciated.
That’s awesome, glad to hear it!
Thank you for this build!, my new favorite! So much fun!
That’s awesome!
Liking the in depth explanations. Why this and why not. Cheers
I appreciate it Glenn. It’s always a balancing act of depth vs time. I seem to be getting more efficient though, so that’s a plus.

Nah, stick with deadly, it’s bis.
@Nightharrow ok thanks for the reply. I really enjoyed the video I'd have to sub

Great vid, got my sub
I’ll do my best to keep earning it :)
Just stumbled upon your content, I like that you give reasons for why you use what you use. 👍
Thank you!

Um, are you parsing on the dummy with 21million health? Cause I think that might be it.

Glad it’s helping you get back in the swing of things :)
I don't have trial gear. Would pairing deadly strike and pillar of nirn work well together? Thanks
I would say very much yes. Night can answer better than me BUT I do have a deadly/Nirn version of the build as well
Front bar pillar and body deadly and you should be good to go.
Front barring pillar of nirn increases the chances that it's going to pop off on a mob that you don't want it to. @Nightharrow well maybe a little hyperbolic lol. Doesn't really matter as nirn is getting nerfed
would it be better to use stampede 2h instead of wall of element for good uptime of coral cos my stamina isnt getting low at all
Definitely but it’s also worth looking into why your stam isn’t dropping. Are you using potions when you don’t need them or stamina recovery food?
@@Nightharrow i m not using potions ,only using lava foot soup for stam recovery
Okay yeah, use either braised rabbit or stam only food (there are a bunch) if you don’t need the health.
@@Nightharrow okay tysm bro ,nice build as always.
Any time. :)
Keep it up man, youre making the best build videos for ESO. Im doing trials with your one bar arcanist and doing great.
Thanks man, that’s awesome to hear.
I don't understand. I run this on parse n i around 80 percent i run out if stam....Im not spamming anything but stull my resources are low.

Just to clarify, why daggers over an inferno staff? I thought the beam counted as a dot and that gives a 12% buff. It's a little confusing
So Skinny Cheeks covered this in a broad sense apparently. I’ll link his video below.

Could it work with red guard character?
Oh yeah, any race is viable, it just might be a little bit less on Dps. In a worst case scenario you are looking at like 5k, but redguard should maybe be a few k.
Is this build still the same and viable?
Yes, but the gear has swapped to coral & deadly for the 5 piece sets.
Thank you for the information
lol i found it easy to parse with xD, doesnt have to dodge attacks so duh?
Magblade next please.
I could probably update the magblade build :)
Dk and sorc are in the queue though, but I’ll see what I can do.
Raid gear then. Im out. I cant do those.

You where already famous, I just gave you a shoutout for clout.
Loon. Tune. RUNE. You're 'Ruining' your video by pronouncing it wrong. (No, not really, but I had to fit 'ruin' in there somehow.. 🙂)
Lol I promise to look up the pronunciations next time (unless I forget).
are you German?
Nah, I was just stationed there when I was in the U.S. Army. Now I’m wondering what I said lol.
