Have you tried the Thirty year old match 1. This?
Was the first batch of 30 he released when he purchased The distillery

Great rundown mate. I am on my 4th bottle of Cask Strength Batch 7 - IMHO it is one of the best whiskeys out there and outperforms bottles that go for 3x the price. The CS bottlings are absolutely phenomenal. I had the pleasure of trying CS7 alongside Glendronach 18 & 21 (2019 bottlings) and it held its own against these much older much more expensive bottles. Between the Bunna CS releases and the Glenallachies - I have found an extremely enjoyable little corner of the whisky world that does not cost a lot to enter.

It's a good cask driven whisky that absolutely hides the distillate behind the over the top wine casks. I like it for what it is, but nothing amazing here.

Completely agree with you on the 12yo, easily outclasses the 15yo & has become a permashelf favourite.

Could you change the volume of your intro? Or the volume of your voice in the video itself to match the high volume of the intro?
I listen to your videos sometimes with earpods in, and my eardrums blow up when I’m watching a playlist and the next video plays 😂
Also, your video would be much chiller if the background music wasn’t there keeping me hyped. It’s hardly noticable but I feel I have a harder time listening to you vs other whisky youtubers that don’t put fastpaced music in the background
I love your videos and will keep watching, it’s just what I’ve noticed when comparing

The Glenallechie is amazing whisky from nose to palate and finish it presents all natural finishes and the color is always amazing. I only have the 12 so far and it's very moreish...

I tried a sample of the port wood finish side by side with the 12. The 12 demolishes it. I did not care for this one really. I don't get the hype.

Good video and I agree with you on almost all of them. I have 35+ bottles of Glenallachie and most of the ones you talked about. Great stuff, great video!

Ben. Loved your review (and love my only GlenAllachie - a 12yo). So I was inspired to go shopping online last night and bought The Portwood, The Madeira and the PX bottles. Next step will be the 10 CS & Cuvee. Then on to the new releases - French, Hungarian and Scottish oaks! Hope the missus doesn't check my VISA !!!!! 😀

Cheers!! I had the Scottish oak last week and will definitely be acquiring one. Lovely liquid! You’re fully aboard the Glenallachie train! Slainte 🥃🥃

Glenallachie is just great. Out of the core range I enjoyed most the 15 and 10 cs. I tried three batches of the Cuvée and liked them all, however every batch is somehow different and thus you always get something new to experience. I also tried some independent bottlings however in the case of Glenallachie you can easily skip those, the original bottlings are already amazing. 🥃

The 12 is awesome. The 15 is much more intense, specially when tasted side by side with the 12, but there are no red fruits on the 15 and it's more dry and less sweet. Still amazing though.

I personally am yet to be blown away by Glenallachie, I have sampled a few but none really have made me go on the hunt for a bottle. Great summary of quite a mighty collection. Loving the bossa nova music!

My favourite is the 10yr old cask strength but I do have a single cask muscatel which I haven't opened yet.

Nice selection Ben. Thanks for sharing.
In contrast with a lot of whisky lovers I myself prefer bourbon matured and not so much the sherried and especially wine and port finished (let alone matured) whiskies. That being said... I can see why GlenAllechie is loved, I'm not the first in line to chase these.

Nice line up. The older vintages have a minimal Billy Walker influence. Looking forward to future releases. They will get better. Will look for the 4 year cask strength that was released recently.

Thanks for the review, really interesting and enjoyable 😊 I have had a 12yo bought for me and really enjoyed it. But my first experience was the 15yo which blew me away - rich, sweet and flavoursome. I'd go for the 15 every time; can't argue with the 12yo price though😊

Great video as always, love the PX and the Port finishes by Glenallachie, though my favourite by a long way is the 14yr Oloroso, which I think is superb, still not keen on the wine releases, personally, I think that is their weak spot by a country mile 👍🥃

I bought the the GA12 after watching your first video and it’s brilliant almost killed the whole thing! What would people recommend in the line up next ?
