I just moved to a 389 from 5 or so years in freightshakers. It's something all right. I've previously done manuals so no worries there, but I'm not used to the nose! All my previous trucks were slanted, or in the case of the Argosy, had no nose at all, lol. Im a masochist so I like the torture of shifting, but if you want my advice just stick with automatics, lol.

I believe Freightliners are the cheapest of the modern trucks but they're also know to be pretty reliable that's why the majority of trucks on the road seem to be Freightliners. I've also seen like 2 GP Internationals on the road

Sounds like to me GP is getting a sweet deal from Frieghtliner. That maybe why they don't have very many Kenworth's or Peterbuilt's in the fleet.

There's 4 duty status's to pick from: Off duty, Sleeper berth, Driving and
On duty (not driving). He switched from driving to On duty (not driving).
