I just want to replay these games now again by just listening to this now tbh and i only recently played them all like a few months ago but I just can't get enough of them
I'm the same way! I played trails in the sky fc back in like 2013 and the music still makes me feel the exact same way from when i played it all the way back then. And that's true for every game in the series as well. It's so strange...like no other piece of media can make me feel the same way like this series does. I think it's just like perfectly tuned to people like us. I honestly thank fate everyday that I stumbled across this series by chance. @@leone9482
Cat relaxing in the sun is just the most relaxing song I've ever heard in my entire life. On that note, the entire sky trilogy as a whole has some of the most incredible orchestral pieces I've ever heard.

Seeing all of the original Japanese texts in a lot of the songs made it wild to think that when this video was published almost 7 years ago we only had 5 official games published (Skies 1-3 and Cold Steel 1 and 2) and now 6 years later we have Cold Steel 3, 4, Zero, Azure, Reverie, Daybreak, Nayuta released and Daybreak 2 and a Sky remake announced. This series has absolutely blown up.
I really love to listen to this for studying. It helps me to keep calm and concentrated. However, sometimes there are just these specific couple of songs that make me feel wayyy too much so that I instantly stop studying just to endulge in the bittersweet memories of playing these fantastic games
I feel the exact same way. Whenever I get to the "The night sky on that day" I just have to sit there in nostalgia and wait for the song to finish before I can continue working

This specific video has accompanied me in my days of procrastination and studying in university for 4 years straight, and it still continues to keep me company to this day whilst working

I had only played the cold steel series so it was wonderful to see where all the other characters began and loved them all! Now waiting for summer and daybreak to continue with Calvard 😃😃

Great list. It would be even better with the Evolution versions of a ton of the Sora FC/SC songs. For an example, try listening to the violin lead in the OG version of "Setting off" and then to the Evolution version and compare them. The OG midi does not hold up very well
There are currently 3 different arcs in this series. It is recommended to play them in release order of the games. Arc 1 - Liberl Arc a) Trails in the Sky FC (First Chapter) b) Trails in the Sky SC (Second Chapter) c) Trails in the Sky the Third Arc 2 - Crossbell Duology a) Zero no Kiseki b) Ao no Kiseki Arc 3 - Erebonia Saga a) Trails of Cold Steel b) Trails of Cold Steel 2 c) Trails of Cold Steel 3 d) Trails of Cold Steel 4 e) Hajimari no Kiseki Cold Steel 4 will be realeased in October and Hajimari will probably be translated sometime in 2022.
