Loving this build, really awesome work. Just starting my own GS750 now got the R1 front end ready to go. You've got me thinking about a single sided swingarm conversion.
@@Benji... you're not wrong there. Can't wait to see yours done it's going to look amazing with those wheels and the single sided swing arm. Looking forward to following your progress!
Build an offset spacer for the main sprocket and trace the mounting surface of the clutch cover and make a spacer, that way you can still have the factory look and the cover will still fit just moved out a bit from stock
I'm so impressed with this build! I'm starting a CB750 build, swapping out the swingarm for '06 Monster S2R and I'm curious how you determined your monoshock attachment point when designing the rear subframe? Any advice for me before I make a million mistakes? :)
good luck with the build! the monoshock attachment i just went with where it looked good and tried to match the angle it was on the ducati. i figure most other adjustments could be made with spring rate or dampening.
Very nice work on that project man. ❤Can you please divulge the name of that wheels!? Company, brand, model, link….. anything , or anyone that knows Please. And Thank you,
Looking pretty slick dude! This is something i wanted to dive into for my next GS build, but was struggling to find any info on. What Ducati swing arm are you using? Think the ones i was looking at was off a 848.
Check out the VFR400 as well that's what I was considering. It's dimensions horizontal are nice and narrow so may not need to modify the frame much at all.
Beautiful work man!
Glad I found this project
I'm so impressed with your attention to detail with fit and finish. Everything rounded edges and beveled drill holes 😩👌
New favorite build series!
Looking pretty badass dude, the wheels are awesome. Can't wait to see it finished.
Coming along nicely - wheels look crazy good - thanks for sharing!

Amazing! The swing arm conversion is definitely not an easy one but it really changes the bike a lot

Where did you find those I'm doing my Suzuki 450 SL conversation to a single sided swing arm . And what arm did you use the year and model .
Did you ever get an answer for this? I'm in the same boat
I haven't seen you check the wheel alignment yet, as in both wheels in the centre of the bike ? ?
Thanks for checking Bill, yes I did a string alignment off camera and they seem to be good, I can also shim the subframe either directing if needed

The wheels are from HSBK racing but unfortunately I can't find a link any more. I believe the brand is called Jonich

Wat type of ducati motorcycle was the front wheel for?
@nickbarnett7907 did you ever get an answer for this?
I’m in Reno, Is your shop anywhere rear by? I want to do a mono shock conversion on a T120.
We're up near Vancouver Canada
Brooo! Wheres episode 3?
Working on it!
Very nice build. Are you sure that the two tubes can withstand the moment of force from the shock in the long term?
Thank you, and yes I'll be reenforcing them later on to make sure they are good
My thoughts as well. Consider gusseting it.
