There is nothing like sleeping in a camper in the rain. But I always check the trees around me. Because 25 years ago my neighbor was 80 yrs old when he went to a camper that a tree was making craving noises so walk down the road to the camper where tree was told them about the tree and he was walking back to his camper and gust of wind the tree blew over and landed right on and is was killed instantly trying to help a total stranger and gave his life for people he did not know.

As someone from the u p , I totally understand about backwoods insect attacks. Just a reminder that insect foggers cannot be used around open water. There is simply no way to apply the fog safely in those areas. The chemical in the black flag fogger isn't some nature friendly deal, it is an aggressive killer, Thus the caution.

Good video. We been getting lots of rain here in Kentucky. It is peaceful to listen too. We have the black flies here that bite the blood out of you and man do they hurt. Nice meal you fixed. May have to try that. Safe travels
Hey Kenny, I have been watching your videos for a good while now. Little too cold to camp yet for the wife here in Montana. But I really enjoy your experiences. I love the fall colors and being originally from Penna, we kinda miss those here in Montana. But I have to say, we have our bugs here and a few ticks, but I'm afraid they would drive me crazy, like they are in Penn too. We can sit on our back porch all summer and see maybe a couple mosquitoes a week there. But, especially when we camp at Price Creek, high in the Pioneer Mts, I never fail to thank the Lord for allowing us to be able to do this.Keep up the good work, Kenny..Norm
There's a couple small screws you could've taken out and slid the side rafter out of the main arm but I guess if you're scrapping the awning anyhow I guess it doesn't matter if you cut it off. Always peaceful camping in the rain.
That's good info. So far, I'm finding the North refers to it as Supper. A lot of people from the south refer to it as Dinner. Now I'm finding the middle ground for it being interchangeable. Thanks for commenting!!

I do breakfast, lunch, dinner, & snack at end. And I'm a Yankee, so that's what I taught. Deer flies r a mess; I could see them in the video when u were biking. Last night we got heavy rain, hail at times, wind around 15-20 miles per hour., thunder & lightning too. Safe travels back home.
@@KennyOfAllTrades I know reside in Virginia and I've been around alot of horse flies where my client I'm caregiver for lives, ther also a pain. Keep being kind, b safe, watch u on u next adventure .
Bugs and flies.. Around here we have a no fly zone. The area that the coastal fog reaches. It's like drawing a line in the sand. Above the line, millions of bugs. Below the line, nothing. Camping up on the ridge, I have watched a deerfly land on my friends forehead and take a little triangular. bloody bite out of him. Right between his eyes...
That would be awesome. It would be a blessing to get a break from the bugs. Up here, the only way to beat the flies and mosquitoes is to find a large paved parking lot. Usually, in late September, the first few good frosts will kill off most of the bugs. I'm looking forward to fall!
"Harbor Freight Catalog not printing anymore, so no book to read" 😂 Those were some mean looking deer flies. Are those also called black flies?? They tore into us outside of Ely MN years ago. Great video and thanks!!
I'm not sure on that. We have deer flies, horse flies and slandered black flies all 3 bite. The deer and horse flies hurt like heck. My hands are still covered in scabs
It's definitely supper. I still call it that. Bring some Benadryl and hydrocortisone cream and stash it in your cupboard. Those bites are wicked. My Ma said the horse flies were insane trying to mow lawn yesterday.

I LOVE the sound of rain hitting the camper's roof, that is so soothing to listen to! 😪 😴
Take it easy going home in the rain my friend! Maybe you will have better Weather on Friday! 😉

Awesome camper and truck. All I would need after that would be one of my portable synthesizers since I play keyboard and pull my boat.
Very cool. You could make all kinds of music out there and not bother a soul. I bet the lake was full of fish that don't see much pressure either. That was the only landing on that lake and no homes for many, many miles.
🎉✨💥 Happy 4th of July to you and yours on this beautiful day, God bless Kenny🙏🎉🇺🇸
Thanks you, you too! I think I told you yesterday that the video was going to drop. I got my days mixed up. You'll see it tonight if you're not busy watching fireworks! Happy 4th!!
@@KennyOfAllTrades No Sir, wasn't me but thank you for the update. We'll look forward to it this evening, blessings.
Lol sorry about that. I had to look at my emails. The other person I was talking to has the same first name...lol...to many irons in the fire.
I love all your recipes. And the green Tupperware colander brought back memories . Benadryl pills and cream are a must in your firstaid kit. Safe travels.
Very good tip. I will be getting that stuff in the camper for sure. isn't it cool how some things can bring you right back in time.
Don't be afraid of the rain. Enjoy camping.
Thanks again for the video.
Thanks for watching
More and more I want to just drive around in my Jeep and not stop lol
A lot of times if your on a lake, the fishing picks up for the first few hours, when rain starts. I bring rain gear.
That is very true. It must have something to do with barometric pressure or something.

I feel you man. Same for Grainger
I thought of you as soon as I saw the news of that poor man attacked and killed by the bear. 😢 Please be ultra careful out there!
Thank you for the concern. I feel so sorry for that guy and his family.
yes in the UK we call the last meal supper. but there is so much confusion
breakfast
lunch or dinner
tea or dinner
supper
that simple haha love your channel take care thank you for sharing
It’s supper for us. Nothing more relaxing than laying on the bed in the RV and it’s raining outside.
Very true! I slept like a log.
Love your videos man! I do the same thing and explore the forests for camping spots! Was just in Chippewa last weekend and found a few nice spots! Cheers!
Thanks! I haven't thought about where to go this weekend. I think it might be a little harder to find a spot. The weather is looking nice.
@@KennyOfAllTrades haha well then you’re just like me and make a plan on where to camp just days before!
For sure. I usually plan the videos on Fridays during my lunch break. Sometimes I don't know where I'm going until I get there.
Great advice!! 👍
Alright Alright Alright...even without sunlight insight, you managed to take us on yet another most excellent weekend adventure there KOAT!
When you said you were going to make a Minnesota tradition for supper, btw - it's supper in my family too, I thought for sure you were going to make something with SPAM in it! lol
My old ski bummin' roommate was from Faribault, MN and I swear that dude could eat SPAM 3 meals a day!
Lovely Spam! Wonderful Spam!

Anyways, gotta love a lazy, relaxing weekend doing nothing after a long, hard week at work!
Thanks again for bringing us along with you and as always, stay safe out there.....
Ok Mike, glad to know you are ok! Haven’t heard from you in a couple weeks! I was beginning to worry…..
@@mandib757 All is well Mandi, thank you for the concern though! Had family in town the past few days, so less free time
It’s Supper!
Dinner is what the dog gets.
And the love hate relationship with thy awning. Dude did you saw an awning arm?😳🍻
Haha, yep! That's how I operate. Get rid of the issue at hand. Lol
That was a supporting arm. It's not necessary for the awning, but it helps keep it stable.
Good video. We been getting lots of rain here in Kentucky. It is peaceful to listen too.
We have the black flies here that bite the blood out of you and man do they hurt.
Nice meal you fixed. May have to try that. Safe travels
Thanks Tony. Definitely give that meal a shot. It's cheap and delicious and well last for days!
I was looking for that. This awning was put together with rivets. That would have been nice to just unbolt that bottom bracket.
Great video Ken. Bet ya have some good sleep listening to the rain and thunder
Loved the supper story. Will use that
I’m in Northern California, supper and dinner are interchangeable terms here.
That's good info. So far, I'm finding the North refers to it as Supper. A lot of people from the south refer to it as Dinner. Now I'm finding the middle ground for it being interchangeable. Thanks for commenting!!
When was growing up my grandpa called it supper so it stuck.
Your Mom was right - it's supper!! LOL Benadryl is handy to have in your first aid kit for swelling from bug bites. Glad it didn't bother you for too long.
I'll be putting that in the camper for sure. Thanks for the tip.
Great video, Mahalo for sharing.
So far, it's looking like the difference depends on where you are from. Stay safe!
Great tip! I'll definitely have to keep those in the camper. Those darn Flies exploded the last few days.
always good to watch your videos, my friend. (from Brazil...)
It is so awesome that you are watching the video from Brazil! That blows my mind! I really appreciate you checking out the video.
