As an American it still astonishes me that if there's a competition to be had in anything we'll find it and be the best at it or get chopped up trying.
Anthony I’ve been around boats my entire life I know the dangers off falling off. When those guys are throttling into that slip the chances of getting cut or crushed are just stupid. You can go ahead and get on one of those though I won’t complain, let natural selection take its place.
Bernie Olszewski as have I, Florida boy born and raised. In inboard prior is no scare unless you fall in front of it. The way that one dude fell, the tire bumper Would have stopped the boat long before the prop would be anywhere near him.

Pokomoke has some of the most incredible water anywhere for waterskiing and board sports. Even on a windy day, just turn the next corner and back to glass. Used to ski there in the 90s all the time until pfiesteria hit. Haven't been there since.
@@curtiscrosley2574 phuck no... My idea of fun is to use the boat to fill up the cooler with fish and to hunt deer and hogs in the winter. Not win a boat docking contest 🤣🤣
Watching that kid dock makes me wanna burn my boat. I am 42 years old and been boating for 6 years and when its windy I always scratch the hell out of my boat when docking lol.
I'm from the north east and those look like our basic fishing / lobster boats. Down there my guess would be crab. The southern working boats seem to be more refined / pretty than the rougher boats up north.
They should try docking at the NMLBS on the Columbia River... Especially on an outgoing tide... 12 kt cross current and wind from another direction at 25 - 30 kts... AKA a cast iron beehotch!

The basic answer is crab/prawn boats, but definitely sportfisher style as opposed to the style of big commercial boats. Specific answers I can't do (I'm no expert on makes or anything). Usually crab boats have that large space in the back, I think for storing the traps? Again, no expert, just regurgitating what comes to mind haha EDIT: Thanks to a little more research and reading others' comments, this style of boat is called a "Chesapeake Deadrise"
That 13 yo kiddo was terrific to see! I was cheering him on.
This is what my local boat launch looks like durring 4th of july weekend
Milk Man i waz thinking the same thing 😂the difference is the ones on 4th weekend hav no clue how to launch or dock a boat
Watching grown men almost getting crushed by boats to throw hula hoops around poles is what i expect from my youtube experience
You have seen nothing until you watch Freestyle Canoe. Mark Ornstine. You are welcome
Ron LaFlamme grow a pair snowflake . . . Go watch a knitting competition or Twin Peaks !!!!! The off button is your prerogative
You never know where RUclips will take you 😂
Hell ya
bet you cant dock anything puppy boy
I did this at out local boat dock, they asked me to leave.
Jesus this guy just jumped behind a boat in reverse. That’s the craziest thing I’ve seen a bit.
Fell vs. Jumped.
Accident vs. Intentional.

LOL, either way it makes for great video. Cheers Merca!
Thailand. "hold my Leo"
So dangerous that dude. Thank God he was back and kicking still.
I’m from Hawaii and I love watching this 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Looks like a fun way to turn yourself into shredded cheese.
These motors aren't outboards.
jerszak oh so if you end up under the boat you magically don’t get hit by the prop? You are a moron.
Bernie Olszewski the chances of u ending up way under the boat where the prop is on these boats is very unlikely.

These are some cool looking boats
How the hell did I end up here? Lmao but entertaining
Chrisfield, MD (my dads old stomping grounds) holds these competitions around the first of September every year. Great fun!
13 year old boy runnin that dock challenge like a grown man. Good for him and his family. He probably has good folks behind raising him

Surely the next evolution of this should be boat trailer/ramp reversing.
There already is the sister of this video. It’s called boat ramp fails. This type of competition is stupid and proven dangerous.
