What are some good brand names of the white shirt and white t shirt to shop for ?
It’s cotton. But for my money I’d say LL Bean. I’m sure others have different opinions. But for me Bean is the most reliable. Bean is not perfect but better than most. Chicos has been good too. Good luck.

A white t shirt. Yup it’s an essential. But all cotton -nope. Cotton does NOT hold its shape. And after 2 washings it looks like it’s ready to use to wash your floors. It’s been reduced to rag status.
High quality Egyptian or Turkish cotton tees retain their shape.....be prepared to pay over $50 each.
I’d take a good cotton shirt over synthetic any day. You just have to take care of it!
Disagree. Polyester makes me sweat like crazy. I always use cotton tees. I like lands end. Long sleeve button down shirts must be cotton, or silk for me. Also I rarely wear white because I can’t leave my home without it getting a mark on it and white fades to a gray or yellow after a while. And I never wear tank tops. I’m 71. lol
@@user-ov6bv9cn1o You’re right. straight polyester gets hot and clingy. Ugh! But if you can find the fabric a poly/cotton blend is ideal. The poly holds the shape and retains the color after 3 washes. The Colton keeps you cool and crisp. Can’t say the same for cotton. I find LLBean to have the best. Holds up to washes. But like always, at times you find a clinker. I like Chico for their elbow length sleeves. But they don’t hold their color and shape. For me lands-end does not fit me well. And Beans elbow length sleeve is too short and the body is way too long. No easy answer. I guess we have to purchase what suits us best.

The "white" shirt??? Uhm NO, not for everyone. On some women, shirts look terrible. Full stop! Wear what looks GOOD on you! If collars do not suit you, DO NOT wear them.

No t shirt for big bustier. The line of the sleeves enhanses the bustier area and makes you top heavy (think balance;)
No striped tshirt for big bust or big ladies. Horisontal lines are not flattering at all...unless you are thin and not eating like the frensh ladies. And than only barely visible under a blazer. Sorry but you will not find them in my wardrobe 😂
