Good posture is essential, walk tall, head high, shoulders back (no hump from always looking at your phone!), hold in your core/tummy, a calm, serene expression on your face, walking with a sense of purpose, I often have a slight smile on my face (it also acts as a face lift!). I am 58 years young, I try to always look put together but not classic/ladylike from top to bottom as I find this very ageing. I dress simply, less is more when it comes to colours, accessories, trends, etc. I like timeless clothes but mixed with more dressed-down pieces like jeans - I always mix and match. Always clean shoes, a great handbag (even if it's just a tote bag, I carry a chic/interesting one), a flattering pair of specs/sunglasses. Clean nails, they're healthy so I like showing them off in their natural state, moisturised/shaved legs and other bits, definitely no overdone brows - I find them scary!

@@xpsxps1339 Tee shirts come back like new from dry cleaners. No shrinkage, all pressed and ready to wear. I use this only on newer pieces. Old tee shirts get washed and dried but are only used for dog walks in hot weather. They have usually shrunk up somewhat. I keep them separate from ones I put with streetwear outfits. It's worth it to to pay $ 30.00 to $ 40.00 a month to dry clean my clothes. Same goes for jeans.
I disagree; I do my mani-pedi at home - preferably for hygienic reasons; I am the only one who uses my tools that I disinfect properly before and after the procedures. I haven't been using nail polish for a long time, and regardless of that, my hands/feet always look great. That could save you $ 200-300/month. Find a friend/relative who is not a professional hairdresser, but can trim your hair. (I also have one for that procedure, and she is very handy; you wouldn't believe she is not a profi, lol). Another minimally $ 100 saved. Be patient and build your wardrobe step by step with thoughtful planning and purchases. You will get there, even on a budget🙂! Good luck!
