A new video!! This was very good and once again love your common and very practical sense in rating these apartments. Good job 😊
always look foward to these videos!
I love your voice, it is so soothing, you should read for those audio books, ❤
I always enjoy your videos and I am certain I could never live in NY…. Thank you Haley
Ich schaue gerne ihre Videos 😊 Dankeschön für ihre Mühe und an ihren Fotografen
All of these apartments would require a hefty annual household income. Using the standard NYC 40x rule of thumb, the $4300/month studio would require someone to earn at least $172k/year, which might be possible in Manhattan. If I had that money, the second building would be my choice. The layouts were better, as well as the apartment finishes, including the flooring. I've seen many studios with the closet/dressing room combo. It could be convenient to have your clothing easily accessible after you get out of the shower. We know that New York is all about "location, location, location", and being at least a half mile from even the 7 train is not ideal, even if you're working remotely. In luxury buildings such as these, I really want to see all of the amenities, including the gym, or a pool, if there is one. This feature could extend the length of your tours. Nice to see you more actively involved in the filming. I would love to see you extend your reach beyond the island and tour apartments where you can get more for the money in Jersey City, Queens, or even Roosevelt Island, which is technically Manhattan but tends to be cheaper.
I agree about the location being very inconvenient for the subway. That area people tend to either love or hate. And I will definitely explore more boroughs in the future! Right now work is a bit hectic so I am focusing on things I can easily work into my week. As my channel grows and I'm able to hire people to help me out more then the sky is the limit!
I believe in the Asian culture it would make sense for Feng Shui . The bathroom outside of the bedroom thing.
While one does not have a fear of heights per se, there is a little problem with severe vertigo. It all has to do with lines and heights and it's severe enough that even thinking too much about it will cause a fainting spell. So one just averts one's gaze until it's over.
Thank you so much for your videos! You're upbeat and honest and fair.
And you know the NYC market, which ranks with Hong Kong in being odd.
Pretty roses, too!
I appreciate the kind words! I'm usually a fan of heights, but I definitely struggled on that balcony
these prices are wild
These are dorms for yuppies. Here for a few and off to Darien!
Another great video. I really look forward to watching them. I have seen many video's talking about what's required to rent (40x) and it truly baffles me how this requirement can be so high. It would be literally impossible to live alone if you were only making 50k a year, which is not a bad income in my opinion. Are these requirements just in Manhattan? Thanks so much for posting...Oh and I looked at the Rose Forever link and the dome bouquet was beautiful. Have a great week.
No, those income requirements are all over the city! And I always appreciate your kind comments! I really wanted the dome bouquet too but I was worried that I would ruin it while carrying it around the city for filming, so I went with my second choice of 16 red roses in a red velvet box. I love flowers so I am thrilled to have them!
Thanks for the tour!
Great video!
Great video as ever! I don’t know how people manage in New York unless very high earners - prices are high enough here in London. Would love to know more about your own experience finding somewhere to live and also how you rate each apartment in terms of value for money. Would also love to see what you can get in New York if your budget is 2000 dollars max
I think my next video will be on West Harlem, where there are more affordable apartments! One of these days I'll also do an apartment tour for my unit where I can talk about rent stabilization, since mine is, and negotiating a lower rent for myself. My rent is also only $2,300, which by NYC standards is very cheap.
Noooot a fan of sliding barn doors. Use regular doors, for Pete’s sake.
I 100% agree with you. You have a bedroom door for privacy, and barn doors don't truly provide that
Pocket doors are even better.
Hi Haley! 🏙🗽
Nice unaffordable apartments.

Perhaps tour Beatrice Apartments in Chelsea and very close to transportation
The first video I did I actually toured the Beatrice apartments!
@@hayley_bailiff just looked it up. Thank you!
Dog treats!
Who can afford these?
Not many people can afford these apartments.
So people are not friendly in that unit or building.
To me neither should get any stars
Such tiny rooms.
Those bathroom with the closet door is a horrible design
stupid money for those apartments, especially if you are only near the 7
NYC needs to be saved
Thanks for the tour!
