You changed the meaning of the phrase came from their world of Niburu…. Different meaning. World and planet are not the same thing in the terminology of that time. A world was defined as a cradle of people or a kingdom, with a king. A planet was a light in the sky like mars and Venus.

So... a civilization advanced enough to invent interplanetary travel had no frickimg clue that there is another planet with life in the same solar system, and made expeditions to planets which even a cursory glance through a telescope would reveal is just rocks and gas. They can build an entire city in 7 days using their advanced robots and machines, but have to resort to forced labor to mine gold. They can walk in different gravity and breathe a different atmosphere without space suits. Yup, quite believable.

The Anu were from a distant planet not in our solar system. Nabiru was more of a way station. The humans from a distant future who have come back to earth are what we now call “the grays”.

Ok, I’ve now realised that this video isn’t covering actual original Sumerian mythology, but instead a mythical fiction book inspired by it written in the 70’s. I thought what was shown here seemed a bit to “Sci-Fi”. I can see where Ubisoft got the inspiration for the lore to Assassins Creed.
I was actually searching of any mesopotamian hymns or stories that acknowledged nibiru or that anunnakis are aliens. I always come out empty handed. So when I watched this video I was beyond confused

The only cultures I know of that understand what they ancestors saw and actually acknowledge that their deities were flesh and blood alien beings that came from another world are some of the Native American tribes in the U.S. and Canada, and some Polynesian tribes in Australia. Everybody else is still hung up on the woo woo of it all.

This is a fake story combining ancient alien theory stories and actually mesopotamian mythology
To anyone thats actually reasarched Sumero-Akkadian mythology, you'll rarely find mention of the "Annunaki", youll find plenty of mentions of the God "An" or "Annu" (same God different name, the Sky God), and Ki (Earth Goddess). But never "Annunaki", because this is a subjective translation by Zechariah Sitchin, who couldnt actually read or translate Cuneiform. When you actually see them mention, they're refering to the offspring of An(nu) and Ki aka "Children of Sky and Earth" or other Gods in the Sumero-Akkadian pantheon. Youll literally see 0 mentions of Niburu btw.

I thought all of the ancient gods had to linkup to have access and influence in our sphere. Hence Anu and Ki were two separate beings but acted as one god.
@mr.c.3760 He the narrator isn't making anything up, he's just reading what Sitchin wrote, it's subjective cuz he did speak Hebrew, so he had decent knowledge of Semitic languages (Akkadian), but when it came to actually reading and accurately translating the Sumerian portions (Religious texts were exclusively written is Sumerian) is where he faltered.
Yes, he made a lot of mistakes in this narrative.
The facts are no one could translate Cuneiform Text that would be 100% correct. We all know that the name Annunaki is a descriptive term to describe an highly intelligent ancient civilization but to state that Sitchin couldnt read or translate Cuniform is somewhat ignorant, he did the best he could.

I don't remember learning this in history classes. But I saw this in many movies from superman to that guy who made sky shield when his wife turned blind from radiation.
Although they were technologically advanced, the whole in ozone layer was not because of CO2. It happened due to nuclear wars and tests which might be the cause of ozone wholes in our atmosphere as well.

I am 65. My great grandfather told me this story when i was 12 years old. He kept a book written in an ancient language he claimed to be thousands of years old. He told me everything, in other religious books were copied from the ancient sumerians. He said some so called prophets used the knowledge they got from the sumerians which was passed down to the Egyptians and Babylonians to make themselves men of god but they were greedy of power and influence. They the prophets were more like rebel leaders fighting and rebelling against any government or empire. Unfortunately the book went missing after he passed away at the age of 102 years old. My grandfather was able to read the book but did not pass down the knowledge. He anyway has given me the entire story. This video clip is only a summary. Annunakis made lots of experiments on different primates. They successfully created a number of species after their success with Adamu and Hewa. Adamu was more ape like than human. Most probably a neanderthal. Different human species were created for different heavy task.

Ok, my question is is if they could travel between planets and genetically engineer why not just make robots to do the work so they don’t need slaves
not every path to advanced technology looks the same. We invented robots because we already had the technology infrastructure that allowed it. Sometimes things get invented and have untapped potential hiding right on the other side because there simply isn't a problem to solve that would allow for that path. For example, the chinese invented gunpowder thousands of years ago but they used it for fireworks and it took them way longer to figure out guns. And same with the first steam engine which was made over a thousand years ago in the roman empire who used it to power a small toy boat for his daughter, not realizing that generations and generations in the future it would give rise to the industrial revolution that led to our current modern technology. It could be entirely possible that the Anunnaki simply never had a need for robots and they learned how to genetically modify things first, it was even said in the video that Nibiru lacked a lot of natural resources and metals like gold which you would need for making robots, so it could be possible that a lot of their metal is saved for essential stuff like spaceships and communication or they went an entirely different more organic route to developing their technology.
Then the robots would be slaves.
It was probably easier for them to do genetic manipulation. All they needed was a little of their dna at first and then the humans kept reproducing biologically. No extra materials needed!

Sitchen didn’t translate the Summarian tablets. He took prexisting translations of the Epics of Gilgamesh, Atrahasis, Enuma Elish, EriduGenesis, Myth of Adapa and Sumerian Kings list and compiled books about those translations

I'm pretty sure it's setting the stage for 'The Great Deception' mentioned in The Bible. I was talking to an atheist a while back. He was so, _absolutely_ willing to believe in aliens, but not God. I think most atheists are like that, since aliens sound more scientifically plausible to them. Imagine if The Devil appeared, claiming that he was an alien, and that Christianity (and all old religions) were based on distorted truths about aliens. Jesus wasn't the Son of God. There were no miracles. He was just an advanced alien with high technology that resembled miracles (or He didn't exist at all). A lot of atheists would love to believe this ... and a lot of 'Christians' might fall for it too. The Vatican is 'open minded' enough to accept the idea of aliens, so they could influence the Catholics this way. I can't think of a more convincing Great Deception.
